Evening, Multipup, OTA/MW
Emma was mooching about in the gardens, half-heartedly throwing a ball for Lily, while engrossed in an "Anatomy for Artists" text book. She'd got the reading list for her classes in the fall and discovered that many were in the Manor Library! Yaay!! She tossed the ball over her shoulder, only to hear an "Ow!" from behind her. Shocked she turned to face whoever it was, "Oh gosh, I'm sorry, I should have looked!"

Ang was waiting for an elevator, in her purse were a few leaflets and a paper bag with two boxes in it. The smell from the Mocha was beginning to turn her stomach, and she really hoped the lift would hurry up. She turned slightly as someone approached, a faint smile passing across her face, "They seem really slow tonight, I've already been here a few minutes."

Icene was sitting in the Mocha, half-listening to the buzz of conversation from the other patrons, and enjoying a large cappuccino and a lemon muffin. She had some paperwork she was finishing up, but it was mostly revision of evidence notes as she had a court day on the Friday. She looked up as someone stopped next to her table, "Hi, er, need to share? Feel free."

Spencer was in the gym, on a treadmill, and running his way through ten miles of sheer unadulterated thinking time. He'd deliberately picked one where he could see the TV screens, and was watching them rather than the mirrors, but he caught the door moving with his peripheral vision. He smiled in welcome, but kept running.

Jane was in the laundry, wondering how some people managed to get their sheets so very dirty, and yet claim not to know how chocolate and strawberry stains got on them. Still, it was part of her job to get these things clean, so she was busy applying stain removers, and setting the sheets in the washing machine. She did turn slightly when the door opened, stuffing the last sheet in the machine quickly so they wouldn't see it, or worse, think it was hers! Just the thought had her blushing and her head dipping down.

	"Did you try the fruit salad? Or the Pasta Salad? Oh, and whoever made that paella should be given a medal, cos that was just wow!" Emma grinned, "I had fun, and made the fruit salad. In case you hadn't guessed?" Lily came racing back, and stopped to pick up her ball, dropping it again at Logan's feet before looking up and yapping just a little. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Emma smiled, "I can only own up to being utterly stuffed by the time I'd tried everything, but I had seconds of my favourites!" "Anyway, all that aside, you doing ok? "Are you kidding? She loves it, and with Prom tomorrow night, well, I'm not going to have any time to worry about her until um, after lunch Saturday?" Emma grinned, "If you're bored, you're welcome to come play with her, anytime, you know that right? And if I'm around we can always talk? I'm not much cop at playing computer games but, I'll even give it a go if it helps?"

	Logan nodded. He'd figured she would be going. "Sure. You'll have to tell me how prom goes." He hadn't been much on the games lately either. Chad had picked up on it as well and Logan shrugged it off using the excuse of studying for finals. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

"Well, hopefully alright, if not better!" Emma grinned, "I love the idea of it, it's not something that's done in the UK, although I hear it's catching on in a few schools now."

"Of course, with me graduating High School this year and not next this is it, my one and only chance at it as well, so, I plan on making the most of it." She chuckled, "Although, I drew the line at buying one of the ridiculously expensive and 'only for prom' style dresses." She did the air quotes thing, and then laughed, "I've got a couple of perfectly good dresses, so it's not a problem."

It was a few years off for Logan to think about his own prom. Sort of a relief, but at the same time he was jealous of the kids going this year. "We used to have semi formal dances and stuff, but the juniors had prom and the seniors had a ball."

He hadn't ever understood how so many girls went absolutely bonkers over expensive dresses for one or two occasions, but then again he wasn't a girl. "That sounds extremely sensible of you, Emma."

	"Well, I have the dress I wore for Ang's wedding back in October, it has a jacket and shoes to go with it, and hey, I'm not really going to wear it again for anything else am I?" He laughed. "You can talk about anything you wanna, but I can't give you any advice on that one."

He rubbed at his chin and watched in the distance as Lily bounded off in the background. "Summer is still in the air. I kinda wanna go back home for a while and if these shootings keep up, Dad might just send me off. But at the same time, I don't want to go anywhere because then I'd have to forfeit my playing time with Lily." And that would break the promise he'd made to help her out too.

Emma laughed, "That's ok, I can always phone Ang if I get stuck."

She looked at him thoughtfully for a second, "Well, if you have to go, you have to go, and don't worry, over the summer, since I should have passed all the papers it won't be such a problem. I can only do so much preparation, and if I plan it right? Lily should get a lot of time."

She smiled, "Of course, she'd get more if you were around, but, Summer school isn't for all day, so it shouldn't be too much hassle. I'd miss you though, and I know Lily would too."

	Logan blushed. "I'd be surprised if Ang wasn't helping out already." He still hated the thought of shirking out on his responsibility of playing with Lily, but he didn't have the last say either. "Summer isn't as hectic a time, no. And speaking of Lily," He trailed off and pointed to Lily, digging in the dirt by a gardening plot. "I'll go see what she's after." 	"Thanks Logan, I'll grab the ball, and maybe if you distract her she'll go for it again?" Emma smiled, even though it wasn't a good idea for Lily to be digging up the gardens, Mr Abrams would probably go nuts if she did any real damage. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	He nodded. "Go ahead and chuck the ball in about five minutes. I should be able to find out what she's digging up and get it back in the ground then." He turned and trotted off, not quite running, but with a direct route to unhinge Lily from the digging. (Reply to this) (Parent)
