Not one, but two different Snow White adaptations being released in the same year? Mirror Mirror came and went — not with a bang, but a whimper — and now there's Snow White and the Huntsman in June.
To be honest, I don't see the appeal at all — in the traditional version, all she does is sleep and be rescued by a prince. While I'm a snow-pale giante goddess with raven-dark hair and you don't see me getting my own film. — well, unless you count the Snow Queen movie that Disney keeps saying it's making, but I have my reservations about that project, too. Count me unsurprised if the snow queen is simply rendered as another cackling villainess.
