I've forgotten about the forums. I could say I was extremely busy, but I've just been getting my bearings, unpacking the last of my boxes, and going to work. I've also spent a bit of my time walking around campus and meeting people. Missing my daughter.
I was extremely nervous about my child flying alone, so a friend of mine is accompanying her and visiting for a couple of days after. JJ was upset about this, but I still think 10 is too young to be alone.
I think I'm going to take a short walk outside.

I like watching the Olympics. It's kind of neat the way people can use their bodies to achieve something great. I personally like gymnastics. If I was athletic in any sort of way, I'd be a gymnast. My best event would be the high bars. I think. Or I'd be on the trampoline team. I bet that feels something like flying.
I think my next event would be something like the high jump. Can you imagine the strength you have to have for that?!
Okay. Back to the TV!

Olympics-fever -- who has it, who doesn't? With all the recent posts I've seen over the Olympics it makes me wonder why Montenegro doesn't have our own version of the Olympics. Not that I would participate if they did, but I can think of plenty of people around here who would probably like to see some sort of school-wide games around.
Otherwise, I had to go to a fundraiser last night for the radio station. Don't I look snazzy? My producer is not a fan of the 'stache, but I think it makes me look distinguished. Thoughts?

Eep! Dehydration, guys? Not awesome. Like, noooot awesome at ALL. I don't know what lapse in sanity made me forget to keep track of my water intake, but it's over now. Lesson learned!

Hello everyone! My name is Macy Park and I am new here to Montenegro. Please treat me kindly and I look forward to being guided by all my senior students here. I will be a freshman in the fall, but I moved here early to find a job. I've been here for about two months, but I just got access to the network now. I think I missed the first e-mail invitation or something. :( Anyways, hello to my fellow co-workers from Muddy Waters Coffee and The Laughing Buddha! I'm sorry I broke more pla I hope to keep working diligently.
I am making this post in the hopes of meeting new people. In order to make this as comfortable as possible for everyone, I am providing the following conversation topics:1. I am from Toronto, Canada. Is anyone here a fan of Canada? We're more than just America's hat (but I like to think that we are very polite).
2. Who is from the Shinto pantheon? Hello! I am as well, and I would love to meet all of you. Maybe we can have a mixer event? I went to one of those in high school for teenage reincarnates. Overall, I believe it was quite successful, so emulating it couldn't be a mistake, could it?
3. Does anyone else enjoy reading? I think it would be really great if we had a book club! I haven't found out anything about one on campus. My favorite book is The Great Gatsby though there are many close seconds. Personally, I can't wait to see the movie. The trailer looks amazing. What's your favorite book?

My friends back home gave me this to help with the lack of AC. Somehow I don't think it will work too well.
Blah, bah, blah I'm Declan. I have some family here. I don't know who I am, but I can turn invisible for a little bit. That's pretty cool. I have achy bones. That totally got me out of a lot of boring gym classes in high school. I like how I can say that in the past tense. It's awesome.
What kind of delivery is the best around here?

I think I would have enjoyed the fireworks more if they were just giant, loud balls of color.

I have the joy of announcing that my daughter will be moving in with me tomorrow. As will several of her pets, including her kitten Gigi. She's rather attached to those critters. Damn you, Ethan. I think she'll be attending Tadpole Academy regularly until the semester ends and I'll be able to enroll her in school. Third grade this year.
