I'd like to turn to a type of song that people like myself find ourselves subjected to with increasing frequency as time goes on, and that is the college alma mater. You'll find yourself at a reunion of grads, and old undergrads, and eh... somebody will start croaking out one of these things and everyone will gradually join in -- each in his own key, of course -- until the place is just soggy with nostalgia. Well, a typical such song might be called Bright College Days, and might go like this. Bright college days, O carefree days that fly, To thee we sing with our glasses raised on high. Let's drink a toast as each of us recalls Ivy-covered professors in ivy-covered halls. Turn on the spigot, pour the beer and swig it, and gaudeamus igit-ur. No, my memories aren't flooding back all at the same time like others, mais they are appearing at random at a quickened pace since. I haven't changed for the worst, which was one of the things I expected. I'm still me and how I treat people will stay the same.
But I'm also Horus now; not just some kid who changes into a falcon.

I thought I wrote in this before. Okay, so I'm feeling much better. I had pneumonia, which is slightly ironic in a funny way. At least I think that it's kind of funny. So that's where I've been, regarding summer classes. I'm back now though, I've been back for about a week or two, but I never said anything. Oops.

Anyway, I'm also home from the whole wedding thing. It was okay, though it made me feel incredibly lonely. My parents were actually decent to me, and only gave me a hard time after the wedding, so that was 'nice' of them.

Apologies if I've been moping a bit. Between the wedding and the sickness, I've been down. That will change though, honest.

How is everyone? What have I missed?

(ノ^∇^)／ 嗳 m o n t e n e g r o! it's your girl faye here, president of hip-hop club and artistic director of the dance team! the hip-hop club's dance team auditions will be coming up soon! we will be holding auditions on august 17 so be sure to clear your calendars if you are interested~ competitions start next semester, so we have to start working N O W!! ( ´ ▽ ` ) auditions will be learning two short routines to see what you can do~

    I'm just not feeling like a blonde anymore. Not that there's anything wrong with being blonde, of course, but truth be told, my princessy little self could use a makeover. But that's, like, hard, and I just really don't want to.

    Also, I'm pretty sure I'd suck someone's dick if it meant I didn't have to get out of bed today. But they'd also have to bring me chocolate milk. Maybe some cereal or something. I think I've been forgetting to eat / go shopping /whatever bitch, I'm starving.
