Right on Tiff's heels, I'm sorry to report that I'm going to be leaving the game, too -- which is ridiculous timing considering I just posted with my characters and did a round of activity. But trust, I've been wrestling with this decision for a long, long time and finally have to acknowledge that simply poking my head out of the woodwork every 2-4 weeks isn't cutting it -- y'all deserve way better, and I've obvs been struggling for ages. But I absolutely loved my characters and writing with you guys, what little I did; I've been a quietly lurking part of this game since it first opened its doors and I'll miss the potential I never got to execute. There were storylines I wanted to pursue and wrap up, but I need to admit defeat if I can't be consistent.

Please do not be alarmed if you see this fellow commenting around -- inconveniently arriving mid-plot is my LAST CHARACTER I SWEAR TO GOD: Theodore Adler / Thor, a 20-year-old military undergrad specialising in engineering. His twin sister is Desiree/Nimue (enchantingnymph), so he's from the same backwater Canadian mining town -- Theo is a quintessential jock, very well-intentioned and friendly, and veeeeery financially poor but hard-working. Just picture an enormous 6'5" clean-cut small-town boy, and you've got him in a nutshell. He also seesaws between Canadian politesse and Thor's RAGING TEMPER, so that's a bit of a problem -- Thor didn't manifest until he was already in high school, so he quite actively struggles against his reincarnate identity. Theo is a bit too conservative and closed-minded and has a white knight complex, which is more annoying and chauvinistic than it's endearing. But he is a gentleman when he dates, and a bit of a flirt, soooo any ex-girlfriends out there?

In which Julie writes posts from her phone while on a train! Anyway, hi all -- after an extended absence from Montenegro, I'm clawing my way back with a vengeance and a new character: Jocelyn Archer, the half-frost-giantess Skadi of the Norse pantheon. She's an MBA student in this incarnation, supremely frosty and frigid (goddess of winter, doncha know) and pretty bitchy if you get on her bad side. It largely stems from some reincarnate-level insecurity complexes re: the Aesir/Vanir, and everyone ever in her mortal life, but it's not like she'll ever admit to that. Norsebros, have at me: she was starry-eyed over Balder, accidentally married Njordr, and Loki was the only one to make her laugh, so I'm stoked to figure out these connections!

Anyone else is welcome, too; gimme plot plot plot pls. All I have so far is that she's a friend of Angrboda, and is Halpas/Malphas/Raven's youngest sister :> Skadi's also a goddess of hunting, so that could be a potential cross-pantheon connection for other huntin' folks?

HELLO ladies and gents! Julie here with her third character (and first female, dun dun dun): Izzy Álvarez aka Thalia, the muse of comedy and current goofy theatre undergrad. She's light-hearted and ceaselessly positive and a bundle of sunshine when she's in a good mood, but a passive-aggressive sulkmonster when she's not -- she doesn't know how to deal with Serious Business very well at all, and therefore tries to avoid it at all costs. Predictably, she goes to standup comedy & improv shows all the time and is pretty good at it herself, too. And will probably put together a dramatic production with other theatre students, if there are others out there? Izzy lives in dorms and works at Muddy Waters Coffee, which keeps her constantly wired. Full profile here!

SO COME AT ME, BRO -- other muses? female friends? male buddies? past relationships? enemies who think her relentless sunshiney attitude is a major pain? Izzy is a social butterfly who's tried most of the clubs for a spin during her tenure at Montenegro, so it's likely you've come across her or met her at a party, etc. She grew up in Brazil, too, so if anyone else in-game speaks Portuguese, she is all over that.

Happy new year, Montenegro! Julie here, offering my super apologies for being so scarce over the past few weeks. Holidays + European timezone + catching up with high school friends + NO INTERNET + 34 hours of plane travel = not conducive to RP. 8| But I'm getting settled now, so hopefully you'll start seeing me on AIM more often and actually, y'know, participating properly. Timezone-wise, I'm now on HAST (EST-5) for the next couple weeks.

I also come bearing my second character: the Judeo-Christian demon BEHEMOTH, now reincarnated as a manic stoner, DJ, gamer, and philosophy student from the French Antilles named MARCEL MARTIN. Marcel is super gregarious and jokey and out there, so he probably talks to EVERYONE and picks up a coterie of eclectic friends; he's goodnatured and silly until you rile up his short temper, whereupon he easily becomes violent. So if he's gotten into disagreements with another hot-tempered character, it likely turned into a fistfight. He loves a good honest scuffle! He also projects at Regal, so anyone who goes to see movies a lot might know him, and he occasionally DJs at Olympus (he is a party animal, in short). Aaaand he's roomies/impending-bffs with Zeke/Leviathan. And he swears profusely, often in French. And that's about it.

Hello ladies & gents! New face here -- I'm Julie and I know practically no one, so I'm super excited to meet & write with you guys. I'm a recent English lit graduate, a Norwegian-American residing in Canada, annnnd I currently work full-time, which means my availability is super spotty. But I wrap up my work contract on December 16th, at which point I am at your service for all your writing needs! (And my several weeks of timezone-hopping begins: PST → GMT+1 → HAST → EST. BUT ENOUGH ABOUT ME. Anubis here is known as Aidan Graveley, this time around. He seems straight-faced and sombre at first, but upon getting to know him, you realise that he's actually got a rather wry, dark sense of humour; he takes no bullshit, can be a fair bit judgmental, but tries his best to remain unbiased and fair, even if it means playing devil's advocate or getting on a friend's bad side. He's a benevolent god at heart, if you can get past the aloofness and the gallows humour. He's childhood bffs with Madeleine, your resident Artemis, but otherwise I have zero connections and would v. much like to talk friends, enemies, fellow pantheon-mates, maybe someone he took on a disastrous date once, whatever, you know the drill!
