Oh hey. It's Emma. This is Harpocrates. I told you kids all about him in the extras comm, but he is finally here. Blah, blah, blah powers:

Voice Stealing: Though he can't speak with his own voice, he is able to speak "borrowing" the voices of others. The person in question cannot talk while Javi is using his voice. He can currently borrow it for up to a minute at a time.

Silencing: With enough concentration, Javi can nullify all sound waves within a thirteen foot radius of himself. Anyone within the radius basically becomes functionally deaf. No sound gets in the area and no sound can be created within it. People tend to find this disturbing, but he finds it oddly comforting.

Secret Keeper: Once Javi is told a secret, he cannot repeat it by verbal or written means. He could probably charade it out if he tried, but that is a pain in the ass. Secrets are pretty much safe with him. On the downside, this applies to secrets both good and bad. Someone's life could be in danger and he could not tell someone. Guess he'll have to charade that one.

His profile is here. Overall, he's an outgoing person, especially on the journals, though he hasn't exactly made a lot of close, personal friends. I suck at intros big time.

It's Emma! With Sir Pelleas! He is Désirée's twin brother! And yes, he used to be her husband in a former life, but it's complicated and he has no plans on telling her that. Ever. Never ever. His application can be found here and blah, blah, blah he does a lot of sports (MMA, lacrosse, soccer and captain of the water polo team). And now for the most intersting part, his powers!

Fearless: As a knight, Sir Pelleas was known for his bravery and the same could probably be said for Marc. Probably because he doesn't feel fear. At all. Whatever instinct humans have to tell them when they should be afraid, Marc seems to lack it. Some people might think this is pretty awesome and in some ways, it is. He doesn't feel nervous before a big game or giving a public speech, which is great. But at the same point, he also lacks that fear to tell him things are a bad idea and that is dangerous.

Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger: Marc is above normal human abilities. He is stronger and he is faster. His reflexes are better than most and the same goes for his stamina. While it's nowhere near anything of Marvel mutant levels, it certainly does put him at the top over most people. This is the main reason he excels well at sports.

'Tis Emma with her newest character Manannán mac Lir, who is pretty much the proverbial old man and the sea. He is a Celtic diety who ruled the Isle of Man/Mag Mell and was the god of couple different things. In this life, he goes by Declan Vance and is the brother to Aphrodite/cousins with Lucie and Davey. He is more or less fresh of the plane today and probably would have arrived with his sister, but he had his hips replaced in may and finally got the all clear form his doctor. More about that... now as I explain powers!

Harry Potter: No, he's not a wizard, but Manannán mac Lir did have an invisibility cloak and Declan has the ability to make himself invisible. All he has to do is concentrate and poof, you can't see him. And yes, he can change his clothes invisible as well. So far he can only manage to stay invisible for ten minutes, though if he leaves his clothes behind it is twenty. People can still bump into him as he remains solid.

Emotional Weather: Declan is able to create rainstorms, but there is a catch. He can't just snap his fingers and poof there is a storm. He can't even think hard and make one appear. Storms tend to appear whenever he a downward turn in his emotions. If he is feeling anger or sadness, a storm will start brewing and the length/intensity depends on the same things regarding Declan's emotions.

Old Man and the Sea: Manannán mac Lir is often described as the original Old Man and the Sea and like many older gentlemen, Declan suffers from arthritis. Juvenile arthritis actually. Funny thing is the only place that he wouldn't suffer from this is on the Isle of Man, though he has yet to discover that.

It's Emma one last time! This is Lilth aka Mena Kildare! She is brand spanking new to the university this summer. All of her FUN SUPER AWESOME INFORMATION can be found here. And since all the cool kids are doing it, here is a list of her powers:

Shut Up Already: Babies hate Mena. When they are in her presence, they cry/wail and will not stop until she has left. And, oh, the sound of a baby crying is worse than nails on a chalkboard to her. It has been known to leave her incapacitated. Her and babies just don't mix.

Desire: No matter the myth, it seems Lilith has always been held up as a desirable woman and the same can be said for Mena. People seem to find her desirable, especially sexually. This happens more so to men and mainly with non incarnates. She has no control over it and the level of desire varies from person to person. It's actually a real pain in the ass.

Wings: Well. She doesn't really have wings in this life, but she does have the beginnings of them. Under her skin just below her shoulder blades, she has bony prominence of where her wings would have grown. They are quite noticeable and up until her coming out as an incarnate, they have always been attributed to a birth defect. She has no plans to have them surgically removed.

It's Emma! This is Höðr! He got slaughtered for the murder of his twin Baldr, but in reality it was that damn Loki. It's always that damn Loki. In this life, he is know as Gabe Harwell and he is an astronomy graduate student. Here are his powers:


Blindness: Though there isn't any medical explanation, Gabe is legally blind. He can make out vague shapes and colors, but they are mainly blurry blobs that, at the most, keep him from running into things. He is unable to drive and reads in braille. However, there is a slight twist to this power: Gabe is able to see in darkness. Like a mole, he can't see shit in the sunlight, but the moment the lights goes down he can see perfectly fine. Reading printed words is no problem for him in the dark!

Darkness: Gabe is able to create darkness within a ten foot radius of himself. Within this area, he can cause all light to go out whether it be the sun or a flashlight. This doesn't require much concentration on his part, though a few hours of it will make him tired.

Her powers include having GIANT WHITE WINGS and being able to deliver her own little for of karma. It's Emma! First, I apologize for being kind of slow this week. My Mom is visiting and she's pretty cool, so I've been hanging out with her. She's awesome like that.

Secondly, this is Lethe! She is the daughter of Eris, the personification of forgetfulness/oblivion, and associated with the Underworld river of the same name. She goes by Paloma Eastman in this life and is just finishing up her first year of graduate school in art history, specifically modern art. She TAs Intro to Art History! She works at Teavana in the mall! She knows sign language! Blah, blah, blah. Her abilities are minor hydrokinesis and memory removal. Don't worry! The memory removal isn't permanent, though she isn't aware of that. As a result, she's a bit afraid to touch people too long. Everything you ever wanted to know about her can be found here.

My neighbor also seems to be using a power saw at 1145 at night, but more about me late because right now, I want to introduce you to Jonathan McNamara AKA Heimdallr from Norse mythology. ● You might recognize him as the guardian of Asgard as played by the BAMF Idris Elba in Thor. Jonathan wishes he were that awesome.
● A sophomore trumpet performance major and mostly shows up for work at the campus bookstore.

As for me, I hail from near the middle of no where Pennsylvania and live in a 112 year old house with my three cats, which means I get freaked out by noises quite a lot. By day I am a registered nurse working in an operating room where I have this pretty sweet deal of only working Friday through Sunday.
