Please do not be alarmed if you see this fellow commenting around -- inconveniently arriving mid-plot is my LAST CHARACTER I SWEAR TO GOD: Theodore Adler / Thor, a 20-year-old military undergrad specialising in engineering. His twin sister is Desiree/Nimue (enchantingnymph), so he's from the same backwater Canadian mining town -- Theo is a quintessential jock, very well-intentioned and friendly, and veeeeery financially poor but hard-working. Just picture an enormous 6'5" clean-cut small-town boy, and you've got him in a nutshell. He also seesaws between Canadian politesse and Thor's RAGING TEMPER, so that's a bit of a problem -- Thor didn't manifest until he was already in high school, so he quite actively struggles against his reincarnate identity. Theo is a bit too conservative and closed-minded and has a white knight complex, which is more annoying and chauvinistic than it's endearing. But he is a gentleman when he dates, and a bit of a flirt, soooo any ex-girlfriends out there?

PRETTY MUCH. Delayed intros FTW, I suppose. Or not?! This here is Remington Devereaux (a.k.a. Hades, Mr. Oft Misrepresented in pop culture!!!1). Not such a bad guy overall, though he’s a little cool to the touch, if you get my drift. (No, like...literally. Right. Anyway.). Remington is in no way confused about who he is/used to be, but finds it best to be prudent and not broadcast it to the world. It makes things a bit simpler. It also helps that he doesn’t remember every single detail from eons of time spent in the Underworld, but that’s probably for the best, too. He’s got work to do here now, you know? Lots of it. In fact, he does an awful lot of working.

Chances are, if your kiddo went the financial aid route to get into Montenegro, they’ve probably met with Remington before, as he’s a financial aid administrator for the school (or, alternatively, if they regularly pass through the main offices/are a teacher, they’ll at least know him by name). He is, as previously hinted at, quite dedicated to his job--after all, this’ll be his tenth year working for the university. He’s not a super big philanthropist, but as an extension of his regular duties, Remington is also quite the donator when it comes to the Montenegro Hospital--particularly the wing which houses those that are terminally ill.

Anyway, hi all -- after an extended absence from Montenegro, I'm clawing my way back with a vengeance and a new character: Jocelyn Archer, the half-frost-giantess Skadi of the Norse pantheon. She's an MBA student in this incarnation, supremely frosty and frigid (goddess of winter, doncha know) and pretty bitchy if you get on her bad side. It largely stems from some reincarnate-level insecurity complexes re: the Aesir/Vanir, and everyone ever in her mortal life, but it's not like she'll ever admit to that. Norsebros, have at me: she was starry-eyed over Balder, accidentally married Njordr, and Loki was the only one to make her laugh, so I'm stoked to figure out these connections!

Anyone else is welcome, too; gimme plot plot plot pls. All I have so far is that she's a friend of Angrboda, and is Halpas/Malphas/Raven's youngest sister :> Skadi's also a goddess of hunting, so that could be a potential cross-pantheon connection for other huntin' folks?

Feel free to take it, she's an easy teacher. She just wants to see everyone succeed. She's very soft hearted, and also very tiny, coming in at only 5 foot even. She was born to a junkie, adopted by nice people, failed to thrive as a baby and was eventually diagnosed with Crohn's disease. So yeah.

She also runs the Gardening Club

Basically, the gardening club tends the greenhouses she uses to amuse herself and grow food for the lab portion of her class.

HELLO ladies and gents! Julie here with her third character (and first female, dun dun dun): Izzy Álvarez aka Thalia, the muse of comedy and current goofy theatre undergrad. She's light-hearted and ceaselessly positive and a bundle of sunshine when she's in a good mood, but a passive-aggressive sulkmonster when she's not -- she doesn't know how to deal with Serious Business very well at all, and therefore tries to avoid it at all costs. Predictably, she goes to standup comedy & improv shows all the time and is pretty good at it herself, too. And will probably put together a dramatic production with other theatre students, if there are others out there? Izzy lives in dorms and works at Muddy Waters Coffee, which keeps her constantly wired. Full profile here!

SO COME AT ME, BRO -- other muses? female friends? male buddies? past relationships? enemies who think her relentless sunshiney attitude is a major pain? Izzy is a social butterfly who's tried most of the clubs for a spin during her tenure at Montenegro, so it's likely you've come across her or met her at a party, etc. She grew up in Brazil, too, so if anyone else in-game speaks Portuguese, she is all over that.

It's Castia, bringing you my second kid, Cin. Picture Carrie, if she had lived, and if she found out that rather than a pyromaniac telekinetic, she had once been a murderous, undersea sex fiend from the Norse pantheon. She's a video arts major with a twisted eye for the macabre and enjoys luring men (and may even try some women too) to her or to the water. Around her you may find yourself suddenly insatiably thirsty or in severe need of a bath. She enjoys messing with people and seeing how far she can push them but she's not entirely invulnerable to others' manipulation -- after all she was that pathetic little girl so mercilessly picked on for so many years. And oh yeah, she's a kleptomaniac so if things start missing from the common rooms, it's possible she's behind it. So bring your kids here, she's dying to meet them. ;)

Man guys, how embarrassing for me. So I was driving through your neighborhood, as I'm wont to do I'm not a stalker, why would you think that?, and my car ran out of gas. Fiddlesticks for me, I should have been better prepared. I totally wasn't looking for an excuse to hang out here, never.


Anyway, since you all will undoubtedly help a girl out, I've decided I'm leaving another gift. I'm generous that way. I'm giving you my lucky Penny, also known as Penelope. Penelope would consider herself entirely less lucky, but shh, we don't have to listen to her.

She comes to you in the form of Kate Harper, who is tiny, emotional, and totally hiding it behind science. She cries easily, likes to use her shoes as weapons, and is studying psychology to conquer the least understood part of humanity, the mind. It is insulting to her that there is something she doesn't understand, so she has to fix that. Kate is far more emotional than she'd ever let on. Emotions are overwhelming and uncontrollable, and she dos not approve. This is partly why she has a hard time accepting the fact that she's Penelope.

She totally knows she's Penelope, but she doesn't completely accept it. She's kind of convinced if she studies enough she'll be able to separate herself from this little issue. She wants to be Kate, not Penelope. Penelope leaves big shoes to fill, and she's not quite sure she's up to the task.

Ummmmmmm. Oh hi. So I'm a new player. Name's Heather. WASSUP? I'm taking this time before I have to go get ready for work to introduce myself. (Job is defined as Cashier at Walmart. *craicrai*) I'm twenty-four years old and currently reside in Iowa. I have a five year old brother with borderline autism that I help take care of so I talk about him a lot. (Recently, I got him hooked on watching My Neighbor Totoro.)

Now for the important stuff! I'm bringing in two babies right off.

This one missinsanity is the Greek demoness/goddess Mania. Greek bbs, if your bb has ever just been batshit insane for a span of time, it's her fault. Her new reincarnation is an emotionally abused thing called Dorcas Carrigan. She's quiet, shy and doesn't really trust people but she's pretty friendly if you can get into her shell. Part of her powers is Fluid Appearance so her hair color, eye color and other things change a lot. Reality doesn't mean a whole lot to Dorcas.

The second one is an Egyptian boy. lettuce_rejoice Min is a pre-dynastic god, formerly king of heaven but more recently an important fertility god. If you google, please note all Min images are NSFW. When a Pharaoh took the throne he had to prove his fertility to the public in honor of Min but no one's quite certain if that meant a ceremonial spreading of plant seeds or something way dirtier. His current form is in Zayn Samara who's kinda lazy and kind of a stripper. Okay, he really is a stripper. Zayn's goal in life is to open an Egyptian themed gentleman's club although it'd be kind of a gentlewoman's club too. He's outgoing, friendly and very touchy-feely. Other than some obvious things in his abilities, he controls sand! Oh-mah-gawd, he's Gaara! (No not really...)

Hi everyone, I'm Jewels and this is Death. As in one of the four Horsemen. Or Horseladies in her case. Her mortal name is Janie Griggs and she's the professor of autopsy pathology. Thankfully for most, her class is a lot of computer work now. Sadly they don't have a lot of hands on stuff, which saddens her. If she meets someone who is going to die within a year, she'll know how, when and where. She wanted to be a medical examiner but because of her dreams and the whole reincarnation thing, she got her degree to teach and she's been here about two years.

Don't talk to her about her mortal family. They think she's weird. She's nice enough but strange. It's REALLY hard for her to get angry and she can be on the super nosy side.

Oh and she's a house mother for a sorority because that's just hilarious.

Hello everyone, merry Christmas and happy holidays! I'm Derp and I'm going to interrupt the festivities for a moment to introduce Leviathan to you all:

This is Ezekiel Son, who normally goes by Zeke. He has no clue he is reincarnated from Leviathan...yet. He has three abilities: he encourages feelings of jealousy and envy within others, his eyes kind of shine, and his breath is very, very hot. Like steam! All terribly useless and impractical powers, what can I say. Moving on, he's 23 years old, in his second year of medical school, and lives off campus in an apartment. He's that punk wearing sunglasses all of the time, even indoors. He's kind of stand-offish, tends to say what he's thinking without really...thinking about it, and probably wouldn't get along with those who are easily offended. Basically, he is Forever Alone. It's his thing.

Hello, everyone! My name is Hannah, and Tiff dragged me over here to join you guys at this awesome game. I am 20 years old and a journalism student at Mizzou. I love photography, baking, mythology, and Harry Potter. You all should go add my cdj journal (unbirthdays) because I love friends and on occasion I post something quality. Anyway, enough about me and more about my character!

I bring Athena into the game, the legendary goddess of wisdom, arts and crafts, and war from Greek mythology. Her alias is Clementine Greyson, and she was a childhood friend of Madeleine Greenberg. Clem grew up riding horses and playing with the boys, so she's not afraid to get dirty. She's a very loving person, but if you mess with her she will fight back and her bite is worse than her bark. She's got a slight ego problem and can be very sarcastic, but if she considers you a friend she will have your back through anything. She's very good at strategy, and she has this awesome power where if she picks up a weapon she immediately knows facts about it and how to use it; as soon as she sets it back down, though, she forgets everything that she didn't already know.

Hey, everyone, I'm K, I'm 18, and I'm completely new here. So I'm kind of nervous and excited to actually talk to you for the first time, but..here goes. :)
I'm bringing you Narcissus, aka Dorian Keely (hooray for literary references~) the infamously jerkish pretty-boy. There's nothing about him that isn't 100% fake, and he's pretty alright with that, because he's pretty, and pretty works for him. Frankly, it's the only thing that works for him, as he's not incredibly bright, or sympathetic, or remotely useful.
He may, over the course of time, try to talk your character into buying him things, doing his homework, and telling him how 'pretty' he is. Possibly all three at once.
Additionally, he's pretty apathetic about getting a degree, though he'll probably get one anyways if people keep doing his work for him.
All in all, he's pretty simple, and may introduce some delicious, delicious drama.

Hello, name's Dis, some of you might know me, or you might not. I've been RPing on IJ for about three years now. Anyway I'm bringing in this guy here, Thomas Schreiber AKA Flauros AKA the demon of Hell attributed to looking like a wereleopard, destroying enemies by fire, lying and deceiving, and talking about the divinity, creation, and how he and the other angels fell.

He's known about his nifty power of postcognition since he was a wee lad, but didn't figure out he was the demon Flauros until college.

Forewarning; Thomas here jokes around a lot, is prone to lying, telling fibs, bullshitting, and being dishonest. He pokes fun of people as well as himself, can manifest fire out of nothing, and can make his eyes appear fiery at will.

Umm, uhh, oh! and he's a theater undergrad, and I can't wait to get started here!

Hi! I'm Samma, (think I've met nearly everyone in chat, but just in case) and I bring you Eros! Warning: he might just randomly go up and lick, whisper intimately, and any other number of odd things....well, ok he might wait until he at least knows someone's name, possibly. His bio can be found here for easy access cause he's all about the easily accessible. He's pretty much like a kitten with new toys at all times. Things have to catch his interest (which isn't all that hard to do if you're breathing).

I'm here with my second character, Grayson Alkire. AKA Metatron. AKA the guy who said everything attributed to the One True Lord, because hey, he's the voice of God. Kind of like a sign language interpreter except without all the hand signals. Anyway.

Grayson has arrived at Montenegro U for the very first time. Neat, huh? Except not. Why? Because reasons, which I have outlined for you in the handy list that follows.

a. He only discovered he's an angel like, six months ago.
b. He doesn't actually know why he's here, other than that he feels like he should be.
c. He doesn't really know that there are reincarnates of a sort that don't exactly fit into his dogma (yikes), or that there are fallen angels running around (double yikes).
d. He's still squaring with the fact that HE WAS DUMPED BY HIS BFF AND WOKE UP IN THE BODY OF A 24-YEAR-OLD WITH FRECKLES AND ORGANS AND NO NOTE. NO NOTE AT ALL.
