Gwynevere is a character I've spent a long time constructing, ever since I read Le Morte d'Arthur and was just WTF about the flat and bordering sexist portrayal of her. She has... turned into this absolutely overwhelming voice in my head. PB-wise, I am absolutely gaga over VS and its angels. I chose Miranda Kerr in particular because she has such a sweet face. Even when she's in the sexiest poses there is this indefinable air of innocence about her, which I really felt was characteristic of the Gwynevere I'd conceptualized.
Mab was born of the desire to figure out a character shrouded in mystery. She is such... an elusive character. But what really got her for me was... She's just so impersonal. She's a cold, manipulative character, Machiavellian to the bone. And, having read a lot of fae fiction, they do not care. They beguile you and entice you and then feed you to the dogs. Putting that kind of mindset into an adolescent girl was just.. *U* I chose Barbara Palvin because she is so beautifully doll-like and innocent-looking, totally the opposite of what Mab is and completely perfect for the fae duality of temptation/consequence.
Zeus in all honesty I started with so I could play against Angie's Hera. This was a new game, and I felt I'd be more comfortable playing against someone I am familiar with, before branching out steadily. Well, Zeus pretty much boomed immediately. I am often at odds with Zeus. Like, how much of him is an asshole, how much of him is a competent leader, how much of him is now irrevocably human... Honestly, I am always at one extreme or the other with Zeus. Wanting to discard him or loving him entirely or djfkasl;d As for Reynolds, I picked him because he is annoyingly handsome. And I don't mean he's so handsome it's irritating - I mean that he's handsome in a very nerve-grating way. It's an annoying face, but it's a gorgeous face. Also, those pecs.
