hey guys – i dropped leilani/kishijoten earlier this morning. i spent a lot of time debating her just because her voice isn't clicking with me. i'll be sure to replace her with someone, but i'm sorry for all the storylines i have to cut short because she didn't work out. like always, i offer plot up with my other characters (artemis, tenjin, galahad, aengus, bastet, hnoss, mary magdalene), and yeah. :(

Hi everyone! I'm Erin, 25 year old actress/educator and I am NEW here and SO EXCITED. (I also like caps. Because I am bored. Because the people I educate are currently on strike. Eh.)
This is Elaine of Astolat from all of Tennyson's poems (aka the Lady of Shalott... or the medieval girl in a boat from that Waterhouse painting), known in this life as Elle Carson. She's just wrapping up her sophmore year as a Comparative Literature major and would like to point out that she is OMG SO MUCH MORE AMAZING than the original Elaine of Astolat and would never kill herself over a guy. Never. She tends towards the overdramatic. No big deal. And she'll be the first to admit that she's kind of snobby but once someone works their way into her good graces, she loves them fully and wholeheartedly. You can see more here.
She also thinks that her powers are kind of lame:
Perception: Just as Elaine of Astolat gazed upon Sir Lancelot and saw his love for Guinevere, Elle is able to cut through the confusion and emotional upheaval to sense who another person is truly in love with. Sort of. If it’s a person she already has connection with and they’re in a relatively intimate situation – the middle of a statistics lecture will not do – and she really really focuses. And she doesn’t much like to do it because there’s always a chance that she’s going to be overwhelmed by the other person’s feelings and feel what they feel – except that she'll feel it for them, not the person they feel it for – and that just gets her into a whole mess like when the original Elaine fell in love with Lancelot and she is so not interested in going through that again. And that sentence was really confusing. It’s a stupid power.
Domestic Goddess: In “Lancelot and Elaine”, the Lady’s tender ministrations brings the Knight back from near death. In “The Lady of Shalott”, the Lady sits and sits and weaves and weaves while watching the world in the reflection of a mirror. In 2012, Elle is remarkably good at all the domestic arts. She bakes without a recipe, she can make a bathroom shine like no one else and she can pull a Maria Von Trapp – or a Scarlett O’Hara, actually she prefers that reference, thank you very much – and whip up a dress out of a curtain in less than an afternoon.
Looking forward to plotting/playing with y'all! SO EXCITED.
eta: How would you know her? Against her wishes she currently lives in res, I'm probably going to throw her in Yoga Club as well as the acapella groups... during her waywardness in California she briefly tried to be a pop star. And also a healthy living blogger, to go with all her domestic skills. Unsuccessfully. Anyway, she's around and - sort of - participates in things!

I AM BACK. Okay, I've been back since Sunday night but I forgot to make a post. Sadly I come back with a drop -- Izanami. I don't know how to develop her anymore, so she's going goodbye. But the rest remain!
GIVE ME ALL THE PLOTS/THINGS.
Edit: Kids, I've put Morgause on hold because a) no self-restraint, and b) need moar Arthurians in the house. I have nothing concrete for her save for that she'll be a brand new professor at the school, but apart from that, nothing. Does anyone need a wife? She'll be Arthur's ex-wife and with a child. Buuut a sister, an aunt? I'm down for anything. ♥

Hey there, bébés. It's new character time again!
This lovely lady here is Sigyn. She used to be Loki's faithful wife, the mother of Narvi and Váli and in some versions also the sister of Hnoss.
Lilian Mercier is what she's called in this life. She's born in Monaco and spent the first 14 years of her life in New York. At the age of fourteen she moved back to Monaco and with eighteen she moved to Paris to attend a prestigious fashion school. Because Paris and the school was too much stress for her, she decided to move to Montenegro. She'll be in her final year after the summer. Lilian is a very bubbly and talkative person. She likes to surround herself with people and usually leads the way in her clique. She has a ridiculous need to succeed, is extremely ambitious and probably the most competitive person ever.

Her powers are as following:
Faith-Detector : probably the most famous part of her legend is her faithfulness. Sigyn did never cheat on Loki whilst they were married. In former times this was her super-power, which has now transformed into some kind of faith-detector. She can spot a cheater at a distance of ten meters, just like a search dog can spot missing people. Friendly as she is, she will not tell that person’s girlfriend or boyfriend, though she sends a greeting card instead.
Endurance : Sigyn is the master of endurance. She can endure everything from a dental operation to the death of a beloved person without complaining, asking for help or whining.
Compassion : Sigyn is said to be the epitome of compassion. She can't walk past a beggar without giving him or her some money, she can't see a person crying without comforting him or her and she can't see animals suffer without freeing them. Sigyn always feels sorry for anybody, be it the goldfish in the tank or the friend who has lost his or her pencil, and she always has to help.
Lili just moved to Monte, so she probably doesn't know anyone (unless there are childhood friends of her around), but she's definitely looking forward to meeting all the nice people out there.
