I'd like to turn to a type of song that people like myself find ourselves subjected to with increasing frequency as time goes on, and that is the college alma mater. You'll find yourself at a reunion of grads, and old undergrads, and eh... somebody will start croaking out one of these things and everyone will gradually join in -- each in his own key, of course -- until the place is just soggy with nostalgia. Well, a typical such song might be called Bright College Days, and might go like this. Bright college days, O carefree days that fly, To thee we sing with our glasses raised on high. Let's drink a toast as each of us recalls Ivy-covered professors in ivy-covered halls. Turn on the spigot, pour the beer and swig it, and gaudeamus igit-ur. Here's to parties we tossed, To the games that we lost, We shall claim that we won them some day. To the girls young and sweet, To the spacious back seat of our beat up Chevrolet.

For anyone going to see Euterpe at the Delphos, obviously she did well. She would have been visibly nervous before starting, but once up there doing her thing she relaxed and got into it, alternating between double flute, violin, and voice.

On flute and violin she played both classics and some modern songs (Beatles, mainly), and for singing she did some light jazz, a bit of Amy Winehouse, and closed with Songbird by Fleetwood Mac. She would have been backed up by a piano player.

So, feel free to decide whether or not your character would have enjoyed it/been moved/felt it was boring/ect.

NEW PANTHEON OPENING

Ah, too soon? Nonsense. After some deliberation, the mod team is happy to announce that we are opening the Norse pantheon! Important figures in Norse mythology include Loki, Odin, Thor, Freyja, Freyr, and Fenrir.

We would also like to introduce a new rule: with every new pantheon opening, one extra slot will be added to the current limit. This means that the limit is no longer 6! It is now 7. Please keep in mind that reserves and apps do not open until the 23rd.

There's something creeping along the floor at your feet. What is it? It's fog. Maybe you're not watching, but it's snaking around your legs, your ankles, clawing softly at your back. But you can't feel it; you can only see it.

But how much can you see? Only about three feet in front of you is visible. How nice of this fog to allow you so much visibility when it could cloud your whole vision. There will be no telling when the fog may sneak up on you. Anytime between the 15th and 18th it will find you. It will follow you everywhere, but it will also tease you. Float in front of your face or tug at your clothes. Pull at your hair. So is it truly fog? No one can say.

If you choose to leave the school or your dorm because you believe you can avoid the fog, you are very wrong. When we say everywhere, we mean everywhere, even within the town, upon the mountain, and in the forest. Yet something is strange. No one else seems to notice the fog but you. Does this mean only the reincarnates can see it? Yes. You are all special, after all.

The event will begin for your character at your choosing, but will end on Saturday the 21st.

Don't get too lost, darlings. And be careful where you step.
