This guy was very charming. Her eyebrows quirked slightly with a sense of well this isn't so bad. Blythe was further amused by her handsome stranger's loss for words when she asked about the sonnet. She couldn't blame him - not many people would be able to puff out an impromptu sonnet which she could hastily scribble down and claim as her own ingenious work.
"Oh, Romeo and Juliet." She chuckled, remembering her own conversation with Kate over the one play. "So many works of his and they pick that terrible thing to teach in every other school in the country. Torturous."
A light flush coated her cheeks when he smiled and complimented the colors in her hair. Two thoughts struck her: the first being that not many people took the time to compliment her hair. The second being that he was rather a smooth talker. Her investigative nature taught her that not all things that were evident were true. But he appeared genuine and she did love that he was providing an opportunity for her to make a new acquaintance.
"That's not a bad idea at all." She admitted, tucking her one colored strand behind her ear. A delighted smile perched itself on her face. "And what would these assumptions be, may I ask?" The smile turned mischievous. "You've got me quite curious now."
The poetry would have to wait and she gladly postponed it. With his smiling face and cool demeanor, she wondered what lay beyond those squinting eyes.
