WHO: Preston and Open WHAT: A Dream WHEN: After the Booze Cruise WHERE: Fireworks, outside (duh), in a park. WARNINGS: Added as needed; open to multiples.
Preston couldn't remember the last time he watched fireworks. He must have, at some point of course, because he was here. Perhaps because he was so old, he didn't have many or fond memories of them. They didn't do fireworks back three hundred plus years ago. At least, as far as he could remember. He surely didn't see any when he'd first arrived. Mathias had never had any. But now however, sitting on the blanket in the park it seemed as though he must have experienced them at one time or another. And he must have liked them because he was waiting with anticipation. Excitement.
There were people around him but they were all in darkness and he didn't know who they were. Except for the person sitting next to him, wrapped up in a blanket because it was chilly with the night breeze blowing upon them. He knew them. Or at least, they were familiar. "I know it's cold, but they'll be starting soon." He promised. "Just wait a bit longer okay?" He said softly, tugging his own blanket around his shoulders. It was a bit futile though for how big he was, and how small this silly blanket was.
"We should have brought some hot chocolate." He commented.
