WHO: Patrick flipover and Open WHERE: Coffee Shop WHAT: Bumping in to people is a problem WHEN: Sunday Morning, April 10th STATUS: Open, No warnings
Patrick had gotten up early on Sunday morning. Normally he would have been outside working on his place, but he'd promised Poppy he wouldn't start working until after ten, and even though his fingers were itching to get going, Patrick didn't have any inside projects he wanted to finish today. So instead he went in search of coffee.
He had some at home of course, it was a staple on his grocery shopping list, but this morning he didn't really want to be at the house, at least not until he could get working. Sitting idle made him antsy and he didn't like feeling that way. He liked things to move and when things went stagnant he would get bored, or frustrated and eventually end whatever it was that was causing him to stop moving forward. It wasn't that he couldn't be patient for something he wanted, he could, it was just when nothing was happening, the man didn't like it.
So heading to the local coffee shop he got in line waiting for his turn. The person in front of him, was very busy on their phone, clearly in a conversation that was taking up all their attention, because they were next and the barista was calling for them and they were still talking away. "Excuse me..." He tried, and the person waved their hand over their shoulder at him. "Excuse me..." Patrick tried again and the person waved their hand over their shoulder at him. He turned to the person behind him. "Can you believe this?" He asked them, his hand up, annoyed at the person in front of him in line.
