I entered one of my robots into a contest, and the little bugger won.

After taxes and fees, the prize money comes out to almost a thousand dollars. I want to do something nice for the community, for the facility.

Any ideas what I can spend it on that would make people happy?

[Local Robotics Club]

The challenge was to design a robot who could map a room's floor. The bots had to follow certain specifications (size, weight, etc.) and mine mapped the room most accurately and fastest.

That's what I thought, too. It sounded fun, so I was working on it between other projects.

They have these contests... quarterly, I think? I hear the next challenge is going to be about climbing a ladder or heading up stairs or something.

Now that I've got lab space at the Lighthouse, I don't have a lot of choice in the matter.

It's good to get out, though. I recommend it.
