Who: Thor Odinson and Darcy Lewis
What: Thor doesn’t like the President's message
Where: Avengers compound
When: after the president leaves Friday night
There was a reason that, even during his princely training, Thor wasn’t exactly suited for diplomacy. He had, what his parents always called, the heart of a warrior. Which unfortunately for everyone, was not always met with the head of a king. Thor was a much more emotional person, whose cards were almost always easily read and was prone to speak out of anger. This is why, though Thor was often in attendance for all things involving his people, he found it much easier to let his brother do the talking.
He had been notified when the president had arrived at the compound, but he had not been directly summoned. He arrived, but decided it best not to enter the room where the negotiations were being made. Instead, he watched the broadcast, wanting to see what was going on without being seen himself (it seems that he was learning a thing or two from his brother after all). He could sense there was something not right, from the expressions of his friends, but not exactly an expert in midgardian politics, he didn’t know what he should expect. However, when she threatened to move and split the Asgardian colony, Thor was angry. It only got worse with the back and forth Darcy had with the woman.
Thor knew that he would have to wait to express his disdain for the woman until she left, he was not that foolish as to charge in angry and express his distaste. He waited until he had calmed, until long after the woman had left, to march through the halls of the compound.
He had intended to go to Tony, to ask what she meant, and what they would be doing. But instead, his eyes softened as they fell on a familiar figure. Thor couldn’t bring himself to smile at his friend, but his greeting was warm regardless. “Darcy.” He said, pulling her into a hug.
“I hate her. If she speaks to you in that manner again, she will speak to me.” He told her earnestly.
