The meeting with the Collector had provided a little more information, but it also posed a number of questions. Was it possible the missing stones had been transported to another world just like the ones that had traveled through the portal? Bruce was sure that theory was one already being considered, as was a plan to develop something to track them if that were the case.

So many things were seemingly already being handled that Bruce found himself in the awkward position of having nothing to do but sit on the sidelines. It was not a position he was particularly fond of and avoided at all cost back in his world. But there lie the problem. He wasn't in his world and therefore the rules were different.

Finding his way to the rooftop, Bruce looked over the unfamiliar skyline. He was used to the high rises and gothic architecture of Gotham, cold yet home. Still, there was beauty in the landscape and from his perch on the rooftop, Bruce saw a world that deserved to be saved.

Hearing a noise, Bruce spared a glance toward the new arrival on the roof and nodded in greeting before turning his gaze back to the horizon. He wasn't really in the mood to talk but he needed to make an effort if his fate was indeed tied to the universe or whatever that Collector had said.

Every few weeks, Okoye made the trip from Wakanda to the Consulate. She would check on Ayo and how the guards there were doing. She would send people back and adjust schedules as necessary. These were things that she could do virtually, of course, but she would be lying if she didn’t admit that she liked the travel.

Because she was so close, at the Consulate, she had popped over to the stone meeting, catching the tail end of it. It was information that T’Challa, Shuri and she had gone over before. She had checked in with Tony and a few others at the compound before making her way to the roof.

As much as she loved her homeland, she had to admit that the bright lights and the buildings of New York City were beautiful. She didn’t think that she would like New York for long periods of time, the noises and the smells were overwhelming at times, considering she was used to a much rural setting.

She almost turned around when there was another person standing out on the roof, but she was told to be polite, and polite she would be. “Good Evening.” She said, making her accent particularly thick in hopes that it might turn him off from speaking to her.

"Good evening," Bruce replied, his gaze turning to the woman that greeted him. Her accent was intriguing but recognizable, slightly thicker than other Wakandans he had heard talk around the Compound and nearby Consulate.

There was a pause in which Bruce thought to turn in for the night but then decided there was no harm in exchanging a few more words. If he was stuck on this words, then he'd have to make attempts to get familiar with others.

"Were you at the meeting?" He asked, although it was probably a redundant question as it appeared that everyone has been in attendance. Bruce had found the meeting a little insightful, but it left a lot of questions. "What do you make of the stones and the two that are missing?"

“I was.” Okoye nodded, “Though I stayed towards the back, I was not on duty and my King was only there via telecommunication.”

She tilted her head slightly, people other than T’Challa or Shuri asked her opinion on things. Most saw her as a threat to their safety, or some unintelligent muscle that followed the foreign king around. In some ways, she liked it better when people were to intimidated by her to speak.

“I would say, before all of this, that it was not truly possible for things to have disappeared. But here I am, back in the past where things that should have happened… havent.” She admitted to the other man. She was glad those events hadn’t taken place, she was glad to have her chosen family here.

“I spent a lot of time in my own world, thinking about Thanos and the stones. I have a feeling they are all somewhere. Maybe just as displaced as we are. I have confidence we will find them. From what I know of the Avengers, they do not give up."
