There were those among Storm's friends who'd have remained on high alert even with the assurance that they were all in the same boat, but she didn't pick up any obvious signs of deceit from either of the two. Not that she was a particularly talented psychic or empath, but she did like to think she'd learned a few things about reading people over her life. After a moment's hesitation she set Stormcaster down, allowing her outfit to return to the basic slacks and light jumper she'd been wearing before. She still stood tall and confident, but some of the electric intimidation of the air around her faded away as well at the change.
"I know the Avengers. Not a compound upstate, though. I take it that means we're stuck because the trip was trans-dimensional." It was hardly a new concept to her - to anyone from her world, really. They'd had dealings with the multiverse for years. It wasn't even the first time she'd been stuck in another timeline, and for some reason the thought made her spirits a little lighter. It would be on the list of possibilities, and they'd investigate it and find a way to bring her back. It might not be soon - time might even run differently here - but she had no doubt it would happen eventually. "Ororo Munroe. Storm."
