September Event: Balfour's backstory [11 Sep 2012|09:38pm] Balfour was born to a wealthy family in the countryside, nobles with great aspirations, great plans for both of their sons. They gave him everything in hopes that he would grow up right, would take on the role they wanted for him. Balfour was a disgrace to their family, however, too weak, too soft to fulfill their dreams. He insisted on wasting family money rather than stepping forward into the military role they had chosen for him, a lieutenant in the army. He wasted time and money, bringing no real value to the family name, only shame. Only shame. It was planned, even, for him to replace his brother, take his place when he was chosen as an Airman, a dragon rider. He was jealous of his brother, of his place among the dragon-riders of his country, and before long, he did take his place, acting very much like he didn’t want it. And Balfour? He was a good actor, growing up in a noble family. He had to be, to convince everyone that he was just a good boy, a sweet, kind boy who missed his brother. September event: Alec's leaked back story [11 Sep 2012|11:03pm] Alec isn't his real name. Alec isn't even a real person. He's a monster with no soul. Alec's real 'name' is x5-494 and he's a soldier and an assassin. He's killed countless people. When he and the others like him were young they used to go out hunting. Only they didn't hunt animals. They hunted humans. They would chase the man or woman through the woods until they could pounce on their prey and then they would rip them apart with their bare hands. As a child Alec shredded human beings into pieces with nothing but his hands and his teeth. Then he got older. There was a man that Alec had plans to kill. The man had been asking the wrong questions, that was all, he might not even have really known anything. But still Alec went to murder the man. His way in was to pose as the piano teacher of the man's daughter. Of course, first he had to kill the real piano teacher. He got close to the girl - to Rachel - and she fell for him. Loved him. Rachel was a complete innocent, even more so than her poor father. Alec planted a bomb under their car. When Rachel went to get in the car the bomb exploded and she was caught in the blast. Was in a coma for a long time before finally passing away. Alec wasn't ever even born.
