The apartment was small, cozy, but otherwise it was pretty nice. Considering this was L.A. the space was of decent size. It just showed how well the twins were doing for themselves despite their lack in years - Todd with his incredible work ethic and Jade with all her infinite creativity - when they weren't getting busting skulls with the Outsiders.
She was leading Guy into the kitchen, absently showing him through the apartment and reading the wine label, when the doorbell rang. She arched a brow until she remembered that he had invited Green Lantern Kyle Rayner too. The other Green Lantern of this sector. The pervy one. Not interested in spreading gossip, she had yet to tell Guy that she had the unfortunate pleasure of previously being acquainted with Kyle.
"Will you do the honors?" She asked, handing the wine bottle back to Guy and pulling a corkscrew out of one of the drawers. Oh, yeah, she was going to need a drink.
Backtracking the way they came, Jade took a moment to marble her resolve before opening the door, not before double checking through the peephole to verify the visitor's identity. "Hello again," she greeted politely. The first thing he'd notice when she opened the door was that she was beat to hell. Of course this was very awkward, but that wasn't about to deter her from doing the right thing and Black Hand had to go.
