Who: Cody Williams and Maddie Green
What: A chance encounter, stemming from a scandalous blog post.
When: Late Monday afternoon
Where: A hot dog vendor near the Empire State Building, District 0
Rating: Given the participants, what do G and R create an average of? PG?
Cody's first few months with the NYPD had been an unpleasant cycle of night shifts that ensured his few days off were spent sleeping throughout most normal waking hours. Thankfully his system was finally starting to adjust; he had decided to take advantage of this pleasant day to finally follow up on a recommendation made a little while back.
Unfortunately Cody was still a long, long way from blending in as a New Yorker, particularly evident from the fact that he actually had a pair of binoculars around his neck as he exited the Empire State Building. Even less discreet was the NYPD baseball cap perched atop his head, though few would suspect anyone wearing such touristy merch to be an actual officer in said organization. Still smiling to himself after the exhilarating experience of viewing the city from such a vantage, he set out to crown his New York experience with another staple: a hot dog.
