Plot Bunny!!
So I've had an idea that could potentially involve several manorites if any of you are interested.
I'm going to be NPCing a serial killer in the City. He'll be very American Psycho meets Hannibal Lecter, as in he's wealthy, educated and a HUGE SNOB and moves in high social circles, but he's also very sick and twisted and as I mentioned - a killer. His targets are beautiful and successful women. He kidnaps them in pairs, plays with and tortures them for a week or so, then kills them and leaves bits of them around, since he's utterly confident he won't get caught. I figure since the Manor is brimming with beautiful and successful women, it could make for good plot!

Now for your pup to be involved they obviously do not have to be a murder victim. The women can be menaced and the men can be on high alert, so it could make for some tension and angst. I will start with some famous NPCs within the next week and it will culminate at the end of the summer when he kidnaps some manorites (off of the Manor grounds of course), who will be tortured but not killed of course, since the Manor is obviously also equipped with some very smart and determined men who will no doubt figure this stuff out and stop him before he gets the chance to kill again. I will likely have Isabella be one of the kidnapped women, and if anyone else would like to offer up a girl or girls, that would be great! We can work several things out, depending upon the interest and what is feasible.
So... Any ideas? Who wants to play hero? Be a victim? Get scared out of their minds? Write NPCs with me?
The details I stated above are tentative and can always be negotiated. There's lots of potential for cop and doctor shaped pups here to, so let's open it for discussion!

Well here's one you can have... CSI Callan. She's been seconded to FBI on at least one previous occasion so you know damn well she's good at her job. Of course clever serial killers don't generally leave much in the way of evidence to be found or analysed, but, they do occasionally slip up?

Besides which, she's kind of bored.

Chad would be in with that as well, and Eli might become uber protective of Bea after the stalker stuff.

As far as the girls go, I only have two, and their counterparts might be entirely peeved if something happened to them.

So? Unless their counterparts are going to be glued to them 24/7 they'll still be at risk somewhere around the line?

Icene could be useful as an investigator or as bait?
and of course Jane has natural victim stamped all over her.

Icene and this NPC Callan are welcome to get to work on the case. He'll be leaving some evidence around soon :D

As for Icene being bait, that could work as well. He's a HUGE snob. HUGE. Very Patrick Bateman/Hannibal Lecter-ish, so likely a good way would be to strategically place her at some hoity toity event, if it was still something you wanted to do. :)

Now that I think about it, if you wanted to offer Icene up as bait to be one of the kidnapped, we could arrange it so that she and Isabella were at the same event. He could gather them up in one big swoop then. :)

Hard to think of anything that Icene and Isabella would be doing together, unless it was deliberately as bait, not even sure they've talked more than once? But hey, of course, City functions might require something like that... high profile, paparazzi style events with red carpets? Geez, Icene would hate it, but smile because bait doesn't want to look like it knows it's bait?

There's the Save Our Square concerts. He probably wouldn't attend the rock one at the baseball field but might deign to show his face at the charity fund raiser in the Square itself if there was a sufficiently high profile star performing - say Maxim Vengerov. ALL the great and good attend in their diamonds to be seen to do their bit. I don't think Isabella and Icene would normally show their faces but this year the cause will be something Micah is involved in and icene might be there, as you have arranged, as bait.

Just a thought, and using something that's going to happen anyway.

Chad would be great!

Eli being super protective could work, although he probably wouldn't bother much with Bea. Even though she's fairly successful on a certain level she'd still look like a punk to him. However, no one would know that but him, so being afraid would be expected. Mass hysteria and all that.

And you don't have to involve your girls if you don't want to, but he can leer and freak out and move on to someone else without anyone getting hurt.

I have no ladies, apart from Ylva and she is apparently just a secretary so doesn't qualify on the beautiful and successful criteria, and I have no police sooooooo - um - tell me what you want and I'll do my best to provide it in a low key sort of way.

Hmm, maybe Vincenzo and the Manor security? Once the news broke that his M.O. seems to be the rich and successful sort of lady, Manor security would be on high alert as that's a good deal of the residents.

Ylva would be a person of interest if you were to play up the Sandberg aspect, but if she's still keeping that a secret he wouldn't actively pursue her if he assumed she was just a secretary, no. If you felt like playing her at any point for shits and giggles, he could come into the office and creep her out. :)

Manor security can up its vigilance once it's realised that he might try to gain access but this seems to be like a police based plot. I think that Icene, Chad, and Kel's Lt Owens are going to be your best bet. Plus all the various angry boyfriends flexing their concerned muscles.

There's Fin's little talent but the plot it was going to be used for got shelved. It might have an application here. If it did it wouldn't be a deus ex machina because that would be no fun for anyone.

I've got Jazz, but considering that she was just recently involved in the campus thing back in October, she should probably sit this one out, yeah?

Maybe she can just get harrassed/creeped out at Micheals Bros. or something and miss the main event?

He's still a possibility. It's maybe worth adding that if Icene were to do something stupid like offer herself up as bait and get kidnapped, she'd be fully expecting Adam to burn the city to the ground looking for her. That or get the armymarines! I meant marines!!! doing house to house searches looking for her.

Sure. He would go into Micheals Bros so naturally a woman like Jazz would be a target for some passing creepdom while he was in the store. :)

Sure! Sounds good. He wouldn't do anything overt that could connect him with the killings, but he would be a general creep/give her the heebie jeebies, that sort of thing.

Right!

I'm trying to work some things out, maybe have him be an associate of someone to give him visiting access to the Manor. So if Jazz would by chance spot him around, she could point him out and there could be lots of gossiping and things of such.

Yes! Gossip to Emily, she'll get scared, especially as she has to get back home to the Manor at very late hours, and she already got mugged once on her way home.

Laura has already gotten kidnapped once, and Emily mugged, and besides I wouldn't want to damage Emily's mental health because something like that would seriously destroy her. But get her scared, and Vincenzo over-protective, that is very welcome, same with Laura and Smith. Both girls I offer to be harassed in a way that is a lot less scarring than kidnapping and torturing, though, and other ladies and their respective boyfriends can gossip to them and be overly worried.

As for the men - Thomas will indeed get over-protective about Jazz, and Lucas will be overly worried about Emma, perhaps bombing her with text messages and calls more than usually.

Lucas might get himself a smack, or find Emma suddenly changes her number! Seriously, however daft it gets, she's not particularly attractive (in her own eyes) nor is she high class or prominent. Plus, I don't think Students are quite the target here.

So both she and Cleo, although terrified, should be safe. Right Jen?

Spencer will be paranoid about anything happening to Roxy, so she might find she's kind of stuck with him going everywhere with her.

Gregori will probably find a way to work with Vincenzo to make sure Emily stays safe. We suspect there will be at least two men making sure she won't be going anywhere on her own late at night!

Oh goodness, am I a horrible drama queen? Because I just got excited about that, and making Vincenzo possessive and jealous for having some other guy who very nearly had a shot with Emily before already be so protective over her and so close to her.

Yeah I'm a drama queen, Dee can tell you that. :D

All depends on how you'd like to play it. I'd assume he could be deceptive at first, but eventually freak her out after a few minutes. For the most part he does behave as a gentleman.

When, you know, he's not being stalkery/stabbity. :D
