Susan Jukes is a new maid in the Manor. She is nearly 33-years old, her parents died in a car crash when she was a teenager, and that left her alone to work hard to get by. Despite that she's quite lively and sassy and fun to have around - what doesn't kill you, makes you stronger, she says.

But it's not really that simple, is it?

In truth she is a reporter working for the Herald, called Robin Reed. She is using the ID of a hit-and-run victim that died as a Jane Doe, and she happened to come by her stolen and then abandoned purse by chance. Desperate for her big break, she took the identity of the unfortunate Susan Jukes to get inside the revered and mysterious Morningstar Manor, aiming to be the first reporter to reveal all its secrets and juicy stories of all the celebrities living in there to the public.

This is a rather long-running plot because Robin will want to gather as much evidence and material slowly and quietly in order to reveal it all with huge headlines.
