	Okay, I'll do that. No big deal if it's a no go. :) I was just thinking of an OTA from Rutherford in the same style as an OTA from Vine Square. Nothing overtly special, just somewhere "outside" the Manor itself. (Reply to this) (Parent)

I think we should just say that Rutherford is just like Vine Square, an open access part of the City, not controlled by anyone, and that it has the usual facilities that you would find in any large college, including student social areas, like a coffee shop, cafeteria or two, library, patches of lawn and the odd trees, some landscaped bits, and just be like all other large colleges, a bit higgledy piggledy where they've changed and grown and adapted? And how's that for a run on sentence? Besides, all the students we have there are in different study areas, and we only have two professors so far? If it gets really busy, then maybe a little definition, but, it doesn't need to be controlled to any extent I don't think. (Reply to this)

I didn't think there was anything specified about it... Mostly because not many pups were attending when I got into the game, but now that I have pups there... To me it's no different than sending any of them to work. They go, they come back, they talk about it. Colleges usually have their classrooms, the bookstore, the cafeteria and a student lounge (or two) plus a courtyard outside so I guess I'm echoing Sam here. Sorry for not being of much help. I was actually thinking a few weeks ago that maybe we should start a Writely document about Rutherford where we can stick in already established information and then also ask questions that the group can answer if they want to. It could be a quick way to get a consensus on small details or even large ones like when winter break starts or whether there's a fall break and so on and so forth. Does that make sense? 	I mean, we definitely don't have to (and shouldn't) go into extreme detail about it, but there are some things that we should all know (such as when the school year ends) and it would just be nice for continuity's sake to know, say, what you named one of the coffee shops and things like that. Right - I didn't mean it to be a big deal, I don't really want it to be. Like I mentioned above, I was just looking at it from a "we can post 'from' Vine Square, why not Rutherford?" stand point. Just another place for pups to be and interact with other pups. :) And I know there's one writely already regarding student schedules (where some of us made up schedules for our students) so I suppose need-to-know details could be put there? 	Absolutely, otherwise it's easy to end up with half a dozen coffee shops all with different names. If there's anything already in game canon about a place it would be a bit pointless duplicating the effort. A Writely that everyone can access is a good idea. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)
