Friday 16th? May - Arcane play at Fat Freddies
Fat Freddies is a bar out in the mountains about twenty miles from Pikestaff - a small hamlet we've mentioned at times. Freddie is a close friend and business colleague of Deacon's and is allowing them to play a set just to see how it feels.

Fat Freddie's Bar and Grill is situated well away from any other dwelling, at the end of it's own road and has a large parking area to the front and one side. It's a big building with accommodation behind it. The bar-room has a bar to one side, chairs and tables, a pool table and a small stage and dance floor. The food and booze are good and the waitresses are pretty but the clientele is a bit rough. Freddie keeps a gun behind the bar and the bar men are mostly ex-military gentlemen.

Kel and I had kicked a few ideas around but nothing definite. Like with the date of things. We are both very aware that best laid plans can often be disrupted and so tend to keep things fairly fluid.

In this case, having learned from the Ball thread, we'll probably put up a 'getting there and setting up post', then a separate one for the actual gig and maybe an aftermath one as well if it seems as though it needs one.

As for what happens, one thing that occurs to me is that some of the regulars might INSIST on dancing with any of the Manor ladies who are brave enough to attend - with the inevitable fall-out if their guys object - however we are very open to ideas.

Okay? Shall we see how this works then?

Lara would most likely go to this since the band's going to be playing Upstairs not too long after that. So she'd want to check 'em out. So there's at least one Manor lady for ya!

That would be good. Also I was going to suggest a thread where Nick comes to look at Upstairs to see how best to set their kit up and talk things through with Lara.

Somebody pukes into the electronics at some stage, as I suggested by IM?

That would cause a flash and a bang!

So that would have to happen near the end, if at all...

Gotta have some sort of a bar fight. Even if it's not major there's always something going on at Freddie's. And I figure they have to throw some covers in along with their own stuff - and some slightly rock/country mix of things like those songs I've sent you. Southern Rock as it's called sometimes. Bikers like that and the heavy stuff.

And all the Manor gay boys need to know not to be majorly obvious there for fear of an attack. Though if it's known they're with Deacon they might be safe.
