Hiatus Notice - Two weeks
OK, I know I've been scarce and all for the last, um, dear lord, nearly two months! But with Reality having incredibly sharp teeth, I've been running for all I'm worth trying to keep up with everything and generally wearing myself to the bone.

Enough is enough.

Quick update for those not seeing my LJ... Nan had a fall and broke her hip, I found her, took her to hospital, cue two weeks of daily visiting as my parents were overseas. They get back, my son goes down with Swine flu... cue a week of work with a sick boy. I then, foolishly I now realise, used that time to plan and organise a garden clearance and arrange delivery of supplies required to put the jungle description firmly to bed reinstating the garden of joy and relaxation one... only time they could come do the clearance? The week after my son went back to school... did I get a break? No.

The garden got cleared, the supplies delivered, I spent the weekend staining sleepers, and every weekend since trying to keep the weeds down, stain the log roll (about half way now), and this weekend I finally managed to build a raised bed out of railway sleepers... yes, the 2.5meter long, 10cm by 20cm 'we weigh a ton each!' (but I can still lift them on my own!) lumps of wood are now stacked nicely and even screwed together! I praise heaven for power tools and my Dad! My drill got a very good workout today, but I couldn't have done it without Dad's help. Those lumps of wood are heavy, but he has way more common sense than I do!

The end result of this though is a deafening silence in my head, as all my pups are seemingly on strike. I shall therefore be absent for the first two week of the Michaels three week honeymoon. Assume (and I mean that in the nicest way) that Emma reports to work, goes back to college, and is other wise busy, that Jane goes about her duties back in her invisible suit, and that Icene is busy at work (a sudden crime spree perhaps?). Ang may be about with Gavin, but as of Tuesday 1st September, she is back at work full-time, and hating it! So she will be cranky and keeping out of most people's line of sight. Cleo will leave as quietly as she can, but is still hoping to come back.

If I can hear them any sooner, I might come back earlier, but I will be back in two weeks. Hopefully with plot, and with voices!

So, I hope you all keep playing, don't forget my babies, and maybe even come up with something plotty for us to play when I get back.... See you soon...
