Howdy! Ceil here (OMG I actually exist and am not a figment of your imagination! Tada!) how is everyone doing?

I have plotty things to discuss in regards to STS4!
For anyone who doesn't know, STS or Save The Square, started back in the GJ Days as a weekend benefit concert/festival to help smite the evil Pangolin (did I spell that right?) forces! After that it drama was quashed, it simply morphed into awesomeness in the form of a three day concert/festival in Vine Square with proceeds going to various charities. Vendors from the surrounding Vine Square businesses set up shop, sell goods, show off wares and have a good time listening to music in the baseball diamond. There's also a classical musicl (aka more grown up portion) of the weekend held in the actual square as well.

Ramble aside, Kris and I are working on plugging in bands into time slots for the baseball diamond part of it and we're also adding extra shows to be held in Upstairs during the weekend as well this year! So! Things I need to know since there are Manor bands/performers floating about:

a) Band/Performer name
b) Preference for performance day/night: Friday, Saturday or Sunday

and also go kill two birds with one stone in an effort to get a jump start on doing this earlier than needed (cause why not!)
- If you business or a business your pup frequents or works for would like to be a vendor comment below with the business name and what they will be supplying/donating to the event as well as what they would like to sell or showcase
- If you'd like your pup to volunteer for setup/breakdown/food & drink sale/ticket-wristband sales/security/etc comment below with their name and desired area of work (We'll probably put up a volunteer sign up sheet closer to the date....which has yet to be set!)

Also, one last thing before I cut my ramble off (Forgive me I'm going stir crazy at work!). We were discussing possibly having some form of minor (meaning no one getting killed or too seriously maimed) drama of some kind at this year's STS just to liven it up a little more. Since everything is still in the process of being worked out, I'd like to open it up to possible suggestions anyone might have or randomly think of that we could incorporate. I know its only July but I figure bringing it all up now might help build up some ideas over the next few weeks to include as many pups and plot ideas as possible going into the event.

I apologize for the rambling word splooge above and do not fault anyone who fell asleep halfway through or didn't finish reading!

Kris, did I miss anything important?

Looks solid to me!

The only thing I'd add is that we're totally open to any planning/organizing/whatnot plot beforehand! Like I know that Niles is still working his way up to getting booked for shows and not just open mics, so Jen, we can work something out to get him to wee-little-music-festival level in the meantime if you want! Again, we're totally open to anything!

Ceil's pretty much in charge of this OOCly, but in-game it's all Lara's thing.

Oh, also STS has traditionally taken place in early September.

Let me know a weekend so I can see what day I might actually be home lol. But in the meantime...

Arcane (Deacon, Nick, Zack, Jack) will want to play again.

Demitri might want to advertise his dance studio. Lemme think on that.

Max will want to pimp Sanctuary. As for what he'll contribute - let me know what would make Lara go 'omg I love you' and he'll do it. Money's not exactly an problem for him lol

Whoohoo! Geuniune 'accept no imitations' Ceil! Good to see you. Maru and I were talking about STS - or rather the uncool grandmother of it - on Saturday when we had a huge plotting session.

This year one or more old dormitories at Rutherford University are going to be refurbished to bring them into compliance with regulations about accessibility for the disabled. Naturally City Hall wants to penny pinch so Maude Temminck is going to fund raise, including Boring!STS, to provide the 'frills' - like wifi and a better class of furnishings and finish.

Obviously that isn't enough plot to be going on with so that will be the iceberg tip of something that should include skullduggery in the 40s and fifties stemming from what's already Manor canon in the 30s. It's so complicated that a description wouldn't fit into one comment box and besides I'm not sure it would amuse anyone else since its very definitely Gen and everyone else seems to be dead set on NC17.

Oh and on a pup-related note:

Amarie and or Charlie would be happy to help out on band merchandise stalls

Vincenzo would be happy to provide a security presence if he can get the time off.

Nick would probably be playing with Arcane but could help out before hand with the set up and he and Charlie could provide emergency repairs to electrics and what have you should they be required.

Leo can provide legal advice and assistance and comfort should Lara be sued :D

Jimmy - I hesitate to offer Jimmy in any context because he'd probably want to climb on stage and offend everyone by performing but if Max does sponsor he could be a go between.

	Lucas would love to come volunteer in like setup or wristband sales especially if that means he gets to see the bands perform. :D I think my other pups will be just attending the event. I'd imagine Robbie has been to the festival before since he's lived in the City for a long time. (Reply to this) (Thread)

	Oh yes - I offer my pups for ~~the slaughter~~ the dramaz. Avery probably won't be attending and Emily has enough dramaz coming up but Lucas, Laura or Robbie I can shove into trouble gladly. We've had 3 psycho-killers in the game so far. One was killing blondes and making their hair into a rug, one was killing gay guys and cutting them up [and that plot was left hanging when the guy running it decided he preferred writing smut instead] and the one last year. Another serial killer might be a bit too soon, but that's not to stop there being someone with a grudge against one of Ceil's or Kris's pups taking a pop at them.

It's always such fun to see plots expanding to take other characters in.

	Travis and Memphis are willing to help out with setups and stuff. The rest of mine would probably just be attending, unless you can think of ways to use them? I offer up my pups for plot - only one has NC17 stuff going for her currently... The rest have been posted in boring, unanswered OTA's. (Reply to this)
