Meet Goblin
So we have some new pups and muns in the Manor again and Goblin hasn't been out in a while so I thought I'd make sure everyone knew a bit about him before I trotted him out again.
Goblin is a gargoyle. A real life honest to god gargoyle. He's technically Vision's pet and came here when Vision did. Goblin lives in the basement in a little nest he made behind the boilers. He's the size of a very large cat or maybe a smallish dog. He's grey in color with skin like soft leather. He has little horns and big, reflective, solid black eyes. He has wings and a tail, clawed feet and a mouth full of razor sharp teeth. His icon here is pretty much spot on.
But Goblin is not necessarily a bad creature. He is what he is and doesn't really know right from wrong. He does what his Master tells him to do, watches out for the Manor, and keeps himself busy by having fun. If that fun has chaos in its wake... well that's just how it works. He can sometimes be found in the gardens looking like - well a stone gargoyle. Sometimes he can be found on the roof in much the same way. When he's moving about the Manor he's usually invisible - though those sensitive to such things might see him.
Goblin can talk though his vocabulary is like a young child's and he tends to refer to himself in the third person. But he's smarter than he looks or sounds. Goblin's best friend in the whole world is Charlie. He has two weaknesses - sweets and sparklies. Sparklies, to Goblin, is anything shiney. It could be the most expensive diamonds or a wad of aluminum foil. If you ever want something to go missing and it's sparkly in any way - well Goblin may well have taken it. If you want it to be returned, that's fine, he sometimes brings things back. Sometimes he leaves things in other places in the Manor.
But make no mistake, Goblin is a demon. He can get quite nasty when he wants to. But all in all, he's a fun loving soul. Just be careful if he's in a cranky mood.
And because Sal found this and it fits so well... you see at one point Goblin went around steeling spoons from everyone's kitchens. No real reason other than he liked them. I think Charlie found where he stashed them.
