Folks, this has been a shitty month and this week isn't going to be any better.

Apologies to people to whom I owe responses, I'll get to you when I can. RL has me completely distracted at present - between stuff at home and having to do a months work this week I'll be burning the midnight oil. I know it's a lot to ask but if you're Jonesing to finish a thread give me a poke about it and I'll tag.

From Sunday 5th to Friday 10th I have no idea whether I'll be able to get online regularly or not. If I am it will be on CST rather than UTC and since my usual response to flying is to have my brain trickle out of my nose, if I am online I'm not sure what use I'll be.

Friday 10th I'll be with Kel and probably pretty nonsensical but I will TRY to do the decent thing and tag sensibly.

I promise not to hog her to much while she's here. Ok well yes I will but we'll be on line some at least and giggling incesently while we are no doubt.

We'll have to giggle very quietly. In my experience, husbands tend to be unsympathetic to spouses who appear to be having too good a time. Possibly because they think we are giggling at them!

Oh you're going to Kel's? That's cool! I hope you're holding up otherwise good, and I wouldn't worry too much about keeping up in MM. RL sanity comes first, right?

Going to St Louis first to a house that only has dial-up, I think. Then to Kel. Then another brief stop then home and straight back to work. I'll be spaced for days.

Oh, keeping your brain from trickling out your nose is much more important; we can take care of ourselves while you take care of your brains!

**hugs you**

I'll take corks. And plenty of crystallised ginger and painkillers for the journey. FIFTEEN HOURS!!

Ugh that is a long time!! What's the ginger for though? Not to make the plane go faster?

Want a recipe to make your own?

Crystallized Ginger is good for nausea in many cases and travel sickness is not fun in the enclosed confines of an aeroplane cabin.

Yep, what Sam said. The first thing I always do is check for sick bags.

Worry not about us, there will be many people doing daft things over the Easter break.....(Like a mass family holiday in Florida with FIVE Adults and FOUR kids, one of whom is under two, and one is special needs..... *whimpers*)..

And we will still love you even when you come back a brainless zombie and are off your head for what feels like forever.... *hugs*

Have a good holiday!!!!

Thanks. I'm sure I will when I get there. It's just that I'm the person who avoids going the Cardiff because there's too many people.

It could be worse though. At least I'm on my own so I don't have to worry about keeping people entertained while I feel like crap. Can't afford to be off my head for too long though. I'm back in work the day after I get home.

*Hugs*

Take care of you first hun! MM can wait... I feel like a putz for not being on more myself, but art projects = lots of work.

Have a good trip and hopefully the planes aren't fully cramped.

Art projects = all nighters.

I'm trying to get it over to her that you can cram for a History or Geography exam at the last moment, but you daren't rush art work. She's had 5 weeks to get this prep done and I'm at a loss why we had to do 80% of it last night. It turns out she didn't finish. She just wanted a couple of hours sleep before her exam.

And then she missed the train because we realised she was still in her slippers as we went out the door.

Kids, eh?

You'll be astonished at my ingenuity at avoiding the camera. I can get positively agile at the flash of a lens.
