Manor wide event/s
Sam's cri de coeur from the other day had so many echoes that it occurred to be it might be good to slap on the unstylish tweedy mod cap and proclaim another Manor event.

AFTER THANKSGIVING THOUGH!

So - um - how about either the mailroom mix up [everyone gets the wrong letters and periodicals not just in the wrong mailbox but possibly in the wrong envelopes] OR one where locks don't work so that 5 year diary where you've detailed all your sexual conquests and given them ratings out of ten gets left unlocked in the Mocha, or the locked door leading to Mr X's extenive collection of ladies lingerie [all in his size] pops open to delight and appall the maids.

Thankgiving, I'm told, is the 27th so lets make it the week after that, commencing Wednesday 3rd of December for the completely arbitrary reason that the turkey should have worn off by then.

	Oh man, why is Emily so nice and appropriate? She has nothing that would appall anyone, but I'm sure she would be easily appalled by someone else's mail or secret stashes. So - I don't mind which, but Manor wide events are always fun! (Reply to this)

I've thought about this a lot as it happens. None of my characters have much in the way of mail, other than Ang's business stuff and Icene's weekly letter from her mother. So for me the mail thing is, well, a non-starter unless Emma gets someone else's extremely salacious letters or an explicit magazine subscription or something?

With regard to the locks, well, Ang has diaries that she really really really doesn't think Alec should find, never mind translate and read.

But I do still think the locks idea is better, because it might not be locks in apartments, but maybe locked doors elsewhere in the Manor? Or maybe the kind of locks that hid doors where people hadn't seen them before?

So, my vote? Locks!
