	It worked well for me when I worked switchboards nods. I'm currently reading Polar City Nightmare by Katherine Kerr and Kate Daniels, which reads like an RP and is about galactic, sci-fi, baseball with aliens and I'm utterly confused [by the sport bits] but sort of enjoying it. I'm sorry, I was rooting for the Rays, that would have been sweet, a first time ever for them to win? Ah well, there's always next year I guess, but then again, next year I want the Yankees to win!

I will get back out there to watch some more live games. One of these days... gotta win the lotto first of course.

But hey, at least someone I know is pleased with the result! So I hope the City survives and that you have fun with it.

In 125 years this is only the second time the Phillies have won the world series. And this is why my city is going to go crazy for the parade.

Also, whenever I see that the yankees have won the world series I honest shrug and thing 'meh...so what's the big deal they've won a bunch of times'.

I feel like I can appreciate our win so much more since our team has been sucky for so damn long and also since I'm actually y'know...from Philly.

And there's my ramble. The Rays can suck it!! :)

I guess we all feel like that when our teams win... it is a really good feeling isn't it? Shame that my local football (er, soccer) team aren't that good, so it's unlikely foe me to get that feeling, I mean, Charlton Athletic FC are unlikely to be lifting the FA Cup, or the Premiership Trophy any time soon..... *sigh*

And in the meantime, well, Tampa can always make it a good year next year, but I just think this year would have been nice for them, first pennant, first post-season, first World series? They could have sunk back into obscurity at the bottom of the AL then with no worries about what could have been..... *grins evilly*
