Chase bounced on one foot and followed along happily. He had been compared to a puppy more than once, of course, for a lot of different reasons. He tended to be happy and excitable, he was loyal and sweet, and yes, depending on the person, he would happily follow them into hell if that was where they were headed.
"Sweet," he said, appreciating having someone to hang out with and talk to. It made him feel less like he was alone in here. He'd been wrestling with that feeling since his arrival, but this girl was making him feel a little like he had someone to cling to when the waters got too stormy. He just knew better than to admit that, especially since they'd just met.
Chase flopped down onto the couch with her, taking up residence on the opposite end of the couch. He stretched out his legs, though not far enough to intrude on her personal space. "Me? Er. Hm. Um, do you want the short version?" he asked. He didn't usually get into his personal history, because it wasn't something normal people were understanding about, and things got super awkward after that.
He decided to voice his internal questions. "I've never been around other 'supers' before, really, so...do people do a lot of big sharing? Or is it just like with normal people, and everyone's different? But oh! What I do. Er...I make bombs." Then he heard what he'd just said and shook his head immediately.
"Not explodey bombs! I need to think before I speak. I'm not a demolitions guy or anything. No, I sort of can put a concentrated emotion into a vial, then if I break the vial, anyone in that area is affected. It sorta..." he shrugged. "Turns people's emotions up to eleven, if you know what I mean. Takes one feeling and all of a sudden people are drowning in it. It's kinda what got me caught, actually. I kiiiinda went to a New Year's Eve party and started a--" He broke off before he said 'orgy' because wow did he ever not want to throw that out into a conversation with a beautiful girl who was actually talking to him and didn't think he was too dumb to live yet.
"How about you?!" he broke into his own story. "I mean, besides the telepathy thing that isn't telepathy, unless that's your thing and that's cool and seriously now, tell me to shut up."
