Vanessa sighed. The subject of TV was a sensitive one around these parts - she didn't have the temperament to ever get her way about what was watched, though admittedly she did occasionally dabble however fancifully with the idea of untying her choker and disabling the voicebox neutralizer juuuust long enough so that she could compel the others to let her watch the TV version of her favorite comic series, iZombie. Alas - it wasn't meant to be.
Vanessa smiled back at him kindly, nodding just once before offering a sweeping gesture with her hand as if it give permission for him to follow her.
You're more than welcome to come. I was just going to grab myself a seat and draw. We can talk while I do, though.
She began to lead the way, pausing once inside to peruse the available seats. Obviously windows were out of the question. She missed sunshine. She missed the warmth of the afternoon sun slipping through blinds to hit her bare arms. In the absence of what she really wanted, Nessie picked an empty couch in the corner and then settled into the corner of it, drawing her long, slender legs up to her chest.
Tell me about yourself. What do you do? What's your ability? She glanced at him curiously, then began to draw him.
