Three days....
Who: The Doctor and OTA
What: Kicking a football around outside
When: Mid-Afternoon
Rating: None At this Time
Status: Complete
Warning: Minor Spoiler Allusions

It's come to this. It's come to the time where the Doctor is unable to focus on the problem any longer and has to have an outlet. Much like using his big toe to expel energy, or sending his energy off some place else; sometimes the Doctor just needs an outlet. A useful outlet. A place to put his attention and focus that was productive - because it was becoming clear that the more time he spent in the TARDIS The less productive he was becoming.

It was like the planet was trying to drive him insane. Each time he'd repair one circuit another would fail. Just as he found the frequency he was looking for it would shift just so. Just when he thought he'd figured out where they were the flipping stars would change. THE STARS.

Then came when he'd met that blonde girl, Shannon. She'd called him edgy. Perhaps he was.

So, the Doctor decided that just for right now, just for an hour or so, he'd think nothing of the planet, escape, or fixing things. He needed to jsut release. So, he found a football and a net and set out on the lawn of kicking the ball at the net and the Golem playing keeper. The Golem wasn't very good - but he'd do.

"Oh, c'mon you can do better than that!"

He had to move to get the ball, converse trainers squishy on the grass. It was nice to have a challenge, but as the ball went back and forth it became clear that Jareth was playing more than just a friendly game of pass the ball - which was really all the Doctor was in for anyway.

Taking up the ball he sort of shrugged, "Serious? What's serious about a game of pass the football?" Tossing the ball up he dribbled for a couple of minutes, passing the black and white icon back and forth between his knees and feet. It felt good to sort of jitter a bit - since getting here the Doctor hadn't had occasion to run to or from anything - and it felt like his world was lacking something.

Sending the ball back to Jareth he aimed the pass right for him and obviously not the net.
