Lady Illyana? Not even her subjects in Limbo had called her that. Usually, they'd stuck with "mistress" or "Darkchylde." She far preferred this. When he bent over and kissed her hand, she was reminded quite forcefully of Kurt Wagner, another who'd gone across the pond to start a team. Kurt had always been a flirt, and she half-assumed this man was, as well. At least, until he mentioned his name, and her eyes lit up as she remembered where she'd heard it before.
"It's a pleasure to meet you, Legolas," she said, offering a light bow in return as he let her hand slip away from his. "Your friend Aragorn mentioned your name to me the other day, when he helped me build snowmen by the forest." She smiled at the memory of the ranger heaving snowballs around.
When he mentioned something being wrong, Illyana frowned. She had indeed noticed the absence of people. Most of the people she'd met so far were absent, including Legolas's friend. "I don't have a clue," she said, shrugging. "But I think you're right. There used to be more people around here."
