Somewhere between "demons" and Sam's thinking aloud as he paced the room, Andy had grown tired. Wherever the hell he was, it must've been a long trip, because he was completely exhausted. Then again, he supposed the scare of being almost clobbered with a two-by-four by a guy who probably made most men look ridiculously small in comparison coupled with the what-the-fuckery of it all probably didn't help his situation an awful lot.

He crossed his arms on the dusty wooden table in front of himself and laid his head down. Surely, the others wouldn't mind too much if he took a nap. It wasn't like any of them were going anywhere anytime soon. At least, not as far as he knew. He sure as hell wasn't, anyway; the last one who tried to leave -- Lily, he thought her name was -- wound up hung by a noose from a freakin' clock tower. Forget frigging Frontier Land, this was like being in a horror movie that Andy wanted very badly out of...as soon as physically possible. Besides, Sam had laid salt lines and it would seem that being inside them was the only way to stay safe. So, yeah, he wasn't going anywhere and doubted if they were, either.

Before he knew it, Andy had drifted off.

He woke with a start, complete with a loud sniff and a gasp. The feeling he'd had when he woke up in Cold Oak was the same feeling he had now. He didn't even need to look around to know that something wasn't right and he wasn't, as they say, in Kansas, anymore. The fear settled deep into his belly immediately, but when Andy sat up and looked around, he was confused.

The greenest grass and leaves Andy had probably ever seen were decorated liberally with some of the brightest colored flowers. Their sweet smell wafted lazily through the air. A...garden? Yeah, a giant freakin' garden. What the hell?

"Jesus, not again..." he muttered to himself as he stood and looked around.

It was quiet. Too quiet, actually. He couldn't even really hear any birds chirping, which, you know...that was a little weird, right? Normally, the quiet was nice, but in this case, he could make an exception. Twice in one day falling asleep in one place and waking up in another? Really?

The sun shined brightly above him and it was a little hot. Slipping off his hoodie, Andy scratched the back of his head. "What the hell...?" he asked, looking around in the other direction. "Where...am I?"

Andy furrowed his brow and stopped walking. "That's rough, man, I'm sorry," he replied. He hadn't meant to make Sam relive something that emotionally traumatic. But, to be fair, Sam had asked first.

"I never tried...I don't think I can do anything else. Maybe it was just some weird adrenaline kind of thing only with your mind?" he suggested. "You know..."

Andy started walking again. "Like, uh...transference? Is that the word I want? Probably not, but you follow?"

"It's okay," Sam answered, even if he wasn't sure if it really was. "That makes sense," he admitted. "I only did it that one time and it was only after I saw Dean getting shot." He wondered what had happened in the past to the other people who were psychic... Had they gotten their powers the same way he did? Not everyone's mom had died the same way his had. Missouri had been psychic. Maybe not everyone who had powers got them that way. Still, that didn't stop Sam from wondering about himself.

"Does it ever hurt?" Sam asked. "When I get my visions, I get killer headaches. It feels like my brain is on fire."

"Yeah, sounds like it was just an extra burst. Kinda like the way adrenaline gives people super strength in a case of emergencies or under duress or...whatever," Andy replied.

Sam seemed to be a little lost in thought, so Andy walked beside him silently, not wanting to interrupt him, until Sam spoke again.

Shrugging, Andy shook his head. "No...that really sucks for you, though, dude. I used to get a little twinge of a headache when I first was able to send out the visions or whatever, but...that went away once the thing was sent and it stopped hurting all together around my third or fourth go at it, anyway," he explained.

Andy wondered why Sam was asking him so many questions. Furrowing his brow, he looked up at Sam. "Aren't you supposed to be the expert on this stuff, or whatever?" he found himself asking before he could even process the thought. Once the words were out of his mouth he felt a little badly - it was kind of a rude question - but it was out there, now. Sam could answer it or shrug it off and Andy would be cool with either.

"That's probably what it was," Sam admitted. "I wonder if I'll ever get used to it. At first, they started out as sort of dreams, nightmares that eventually came true. Then I started getting them while I was awake. The pain's never lessened." For a moment, Sam wished he'd asked Ava if she also had killer headaches whenever she had had a vision. Maybe it was just him, for some odd reason. Oh well. He'd never know now.

"Expert?" Sam asked, raising an eyebrow at Andy. "I'm not much more of an expert on the paranormal than any other hunter would be, most likely. Our dad just raised us teaching us all this stuff about it. That's the only reason we even know that the crazy stuff out there is sometimes real."
