"So how was your fishing trip?" Rose asked, clearly amused as she glanced over to the Doctor. She was standing in front of the closet, trying to decide if she should change or not. It was early enough that there was still plenty of time to do something else for the evening-- dinner sounded good, of course. And then after that? Well, she thought that she and the Doctor should find something to do.

She turned around hooking her thumbs in her belt loops as she made her way over to flop down on the bed, feet in the air. "Wanna go find something to do tonight? I don't think I want to stay cooped up in our room all evening. There's so much to do around here!"

It had escalated very rapdidly from something they could call an innocent kiss into something with a sense of longing and urgency. Once his coat had fallen to the floor his hands moved to her waist, his fingers just slipping under her shirt and no more.

She wasn't drunk, she was just a little tipsy he reasoned with himself as he briefly wondered if this was right. He was quite sure that they weren't drunk enough to forget it... it would have been terrible to go all the way an then forget about it... even maybe regret it. "Rose, I.." he started, sort of searching for confirmation, but sinking back into a kiss instead of finishing the sentence.

	Rose reached for his shirt, pulling it from his waistband as she returned his kisses. She looked up as he pulled back, a finger coming up to silence him as he started. And then they were kissing again, and it was another few minutes before she pulled back, moving to sit on the edge of the bed and pulling him over to sit down beside her. There were so many questions and concerns whizzing through the Doctor's mind as always, but it seemed as though when Rose was kissing him it was the only thing he could think about. He sat down next to her, realising with a slight amusement that it was the first time they'd even sat on the bed together since their arrival. It really should have been obvious that they were avoiding something.

He reached out and gently moved Rose's hair from her face, smiling at her affectionately. There were words he wanted to say to her, words he'd wanted to say for so long, but even in such circumstances they just stuck in his throat. Instead, he placed a gentle kiss against her forehead, hoping that somehow his actions would say it for him.

Rose had her own share of things to say to him, but she couldn't quite bring herself to say anything. She wanted this- so badly- and she didn't want to ruin it by saying the wrong thing.

She smiled as she felt his fingers in her hair, and she closed her eyes as he kissed her forehead. His actions said a lot, and she just wished that she better knew how to tell him- show him- everything. "Doctor, I-" She shook her head and leaned forward, pressing another kiss to his lips, trying to say everything that she couldn't quite say with words.

Even just the way she said his name seemed to express her feelings just perfectly, and the Doctor nodded a little. "I know," he whispered between kisses. He just hoped she knew that he felt the same way. She just had to know it. But for now, their actions would just have to speak on their behalf.

He pulled her close, his hands slipping under the hem of her shirt once more and moving up her back, the shirt moving with them as he placed a few firm kisses along her jawline.

	Rose just nodded, returning his kisses. She was glad he knew what she meant. Her back arched as she felt his hands on her skin, and she made a soft sound as his lips moved along her jaw line. The Doctor was so lost in the moment that he didn't hear the door at first. It took the visitor three attempts to distract his attention, and it was only when they sounded like they were going to break the door down that he actually responded.

"What the hell?" he asked Rose a little high-pitched, groaning as he reluctantly dragged himself away from her to open the door. There was a golem standing there holding his tie. "Oh... right. You really shouldn't have. I don't even like it that much anyway," he commented, snatching the tie from his hand anyway. "Night!" he said with a forced grin, half-considering asking if they had 'Do Not Disturb' signs like normal resorts.

Rose didn't even hear the door; her heart was pounding in her ears-- in the best way possible. She blinked, taking a few moments to catch her breath as he pulled back. "I-don't know," she started, watching him as he stood.

And then she yawned, laying back on the bed. Oh, that felt lovely, resting her head on the pillow. She sighed, softly, and moments later she was asleep.

The Doctor couldn't help but smile as he turned to see that Rose had fallen asleep already; he couldn't even feel too disappointed when she looked that adorable. It was probably best to wait anyway, it was all a bit much for one evening.

He sat gently on the other side of the bed and removed his shoes, handing the tie over the headboard. He moved as quietly as he could, and softly slid the sheet out from under her sleeping form before draping it over her and slipping into bed beside her. He placed a gentle kiss on her cheek, and then to stop himself from just staring at her all night he turned the other way and tried to get some sleep.
