Who: Haruka & Michiru
Where: Wine making area
When: Early Afternoon
What: Making some wine
Rating: PG-13ish?
Status: Complete

Michiru had spent a good portion of yesterday wandering the resort, and trying to figure out why the Planet had been so rude as to make her ocean disappear with no warning. You couldn't _do_ that. Oceans weren't supposed to just appear and disappear overnight. Yet that was what had happened. However, the Planet had seen fit to provide a very nice winery, and Michiru had spent the afternoon tasting some very fine wines. Which did not make up for the missing ocean, but was very thoughtful.

Now, with a rather self satisfied smile she pulled Haruka up the path behind her. There had been a sign at the tastings that mentioned that 'guests' could help make the wine. This seemed like it would be great fun. She didn't know much about wine making, except that you had to stomp on the grapes at some point. Haruka would probably like that part, since it seemed messy. Michiru was more interested in figuring out the whole fermentation process and how you packed the juice just right to get the different flavors.

She hadn't told Haruka where they were headed, preferring it to be a surprise. She hoped they could have a fun, relaxing time, and maybe distract her from the nagging sense of worry.

Haruka raised an eyebrow at Michiru's protest of sobriety, but let the comment slide. She knew better than to disagree with her lover on matters of propriety. Instead, she took a seat and accepted the swallow of wine from the golem. She sipped it carefully and smiled. "She would indeed," Haruka said. It was nice, even if it wasn't exactly to her tastes.

The golem procured several more bottles and glasses. Haruka took her time trying each one, just enjoying the afternoon. She was mostly unaware of time passing, save for the shifting of light and shadow at the window near the front of the room. She began to feel a little tipsy herself after a while.

"I think that'll be all for me," Haruka said at last, refusing a rather tasty-looking red wine. The golem nodded and removed the glass from the table. Haruka knew her limits, and she didn't want to be too tipsy on her walk back to the dorms. She'd thought about going for a run, but not the way she was right now. She glanced at Michiru, whom she was sure would tease her about the wine. "Are you ready to head back?" she asked.

Michiru was feeling just the very slightest bit fuzzy when Haruka refused the glass of red. She had about reached her limit as well. She wasn't drunk by any stretch of the imagination, just a little tipsy and warm.

"You go on" she said, giving Haruka a small smile that said far more about her opinion of the other woman's state than words would have. "I think I'll take a walk"

Honestly, the walk was more to work off her own slight intoxication, but she was hardly going to admit that.
