Chuck bass did not,for the life of him, want to open his eyes.

He had been laying here for a good five minutes, feeling the slight pressure of what was sure to be a hell of a hangover throb at the back of his skull.That,however, was not the reason he didnt want to open his eyes and actually alert everyone, well ok the maids werent everyone but still, that he was awake.

He didnt want to because he was pretty sure, no scratch that, absolutly sure that if he opened his eyes what happened last night would be a dream.Though he was,if anything, quite sure the hand he felt thrown lazily over his stomach and the purr of blairs light breathe near his ear was all to real.

Still, knowning the queen bee, if she awoke before him, her hissy fit would wake the dead if she was series enough about it.So with a groan,he pushed himself over the side of the bed, yawning and blinking at the light of the morning that was streaming through the open window.

He glanced back at the still sleeping brown haired queen bee, tempted to wake her up just for the hell of it, but decided against it, not that it wouldnt have been amusing, he just wasnt in the mood for what were sure to be her insults about his manhood,amoung other things, today.

With a light hiss, he grabbed his shirt and pulling it on,rifled through small pile of discarded clothes before he found his prize, his ciggaretts and lighter.With hardly a glance back at he headed for the balcony to smoke,hopfully before the ice queen stirred for the day....

...Still half-asleep himself,it took a few minutes to realize that what should have been a very short trip to the french doors that led to the balcony werent there, in fact the entire apartment was gone,replaced with soft sands and the familer sounds of the ocean

He paused,glaring at the ciggeratte dangling from his fingers with contempt.He knew blair wouldnt want him blabbing about her cheating on nate with him,but drugging him?this was out right ridiculous. "Blair.."He called loudly, his tone light,patient, like that of an adult gearing up to punish a wayward child

"This isnt funny blair"

Chuck nodded,impressed. "Really?Guess I'll have to take your word for it wont I princess?"He asked,matching her grin.

He quickly downed his drink,slamming it on the counter with a small 'thunk'and,almost magically,it was refilled!"now this is my kind of bar"he muttered,briefly wondering what his tab would look like once he really got going.

"So beautiful,whats your hobby"he asked casually.

“You’ll see for yourself soon enough,” Claire pointed out before realising how that sounded, “I mean you’ll see how your room is how you want it to be.” She blushed and ducked her head, busying herself with drinking her drink whilst she got over the embarrassment.

Thankfully it didn’t take long and she looked back up with a smile, hobby? Lying had become like a hobby for her, but not one she liked. “Cheerleading, gymnastics..” Claire trailed off, that pretty much summed her hobby up. “How about you?”

	He gave her a look at her statment,grinning like the cat who had finally gotten hold of the canary. "Im sure I will"he said,letting her take that any which way she wanted. He paused,looking thoughtful at her question "Me?im into anything really.Though if you must know I do like the classics. literature,music,the works."He shrugged "Not much of a hobby I know.." Claire caught sight of that grin and blushed again, she couldn’t help it. How was she supposed to take that? “Mhmm,” a murmur of an agreement that came with a grin, so he could take it whatever way he wanted as well.

“It’s more of a hobby than mine, at least yours sounds interesting and very..” Claire paused and laughed lightly, she wasn’t sure how that sentence was supposed to end. “It just sounds better than cheerleading.” There was a few beats before she attempted to add casually, “you haven’t by any chance read Chandra Suresh’ book called 'Activating Evolution' have you?” She just wanted to know out of curiosity, see if he knew anything at all about abilities.

"Cant say that I have"he said,frowning just a tad bit.Then again science wasnt exactly his strong suit..hell school in general wasnt his strong suit.

His smile was that of a sharks,as he tilted his head,regarding her answer for a minute,before leaning foward slightly,kissing her. "has anyone ever told you your awful cute when you blush"his words were a mere whisper,as he pulled back slightly,brown eyes studying hers,if only to see what she would do.

“You should, it’s an interesting read.” Claire smirked slightly, it was amusing to her because she understood. “You’d be surprised by how evolved humans can be.”

As his head tilted toward hers she froze, she wasn’t stranger to dating but she hadn’t exactly had good experiences, West hadn’t been..that was complicated. Claire’s eyes widened a touch as his lips pressed against hers although she was too shocked to do anything, not that she could it was over before she had a chance to decide how she felt about it. “They have now,” she laughed quietly, not moving an inch. “Remember what I was saying about you being forward? That there was a perfect example.” Claire grinned, leaving it up to him what happened next.
