She sat on top of the large ‘B’ of the Daily Bugle building, enjoying the cold night air, eyes peeled for any sign of her wall crawling friend. The fabric of her suit clung to the flesh, but the New York winter breeze still sent chills down her spine until a clawed hand rose to zip the front up slightly -- though this simply meant her abdominals were covered. At any rate, the fur on her collar offered some warmth.

Things had been going badly for Peter (worse then before), and while she had registered and was technically supposed to help bring in rogues like him -- She never was one to adhere to all the rules, and nothing would stop her from helping him if she could. So far though no sign of him, but the night was young and he was supposed to be hiding. Felicia extended an arm, rope and hook shooting out, connecting with the nearest building, and allowing her to swing between them. Perhaps not as quickly as the Spider, but they worked for her. She’d only gotten a few blocks when her hook shot out into -- daylight and nothingness? The sky went from midnight back to the pinks and oranges of sundown, with mountains and trees instead of concrete. She tried to stop herself, flipping backwards into the darkness of New York only to fall downwards. She landed on her hands and feet much sooner then she should have as only moments ago she was near forty stories up, back arched like an agitated feline, and looked forward to find herself in the fading sunlight and grass, and it was certainly not Central Park. Cautiously she drew herself up and glanced around. It was a nice garden, to be sure, but she didn’t have time for this.

It was a shock, but she wasn’t a stranger to weird things. Hell, this wasn’t even her first time being transported someplace else, but it was no less unsettling. Especially considering last time something like this had happened it was with the intention to make her into prey for some hunter. However, that didn’t seem like the case this time. She was at the edge of some garden, and not far off there looked to be a resort.

Well, no point in standing here. She might as well say hello to who or whatever dragged her here. Maybe she could even buy herself a ticket back home. Felicia had a pouch of particularly expensive jewels tucked away in the fur by her left boot. It was supposed to go to Spiderman, she’d wanted to help in some way when she’d heard about his aunt getting shot, and the jewels could easily be sold for cash to pay for medical care -- but looked like they would have to go to a different cause now. Not like she couldn’t easily get her hands on more, after all.

The Black Cat strode out of the garden, obviously out of place, but no hesitation in her step. She had no doubt that she could take anything that was thrown at her if this was some kind of trap. It would be dark again soon as well, which would put her back in her element. Not to mention she wasn't too keen on walking about in this outfit during the day anyways, it took away from the whole look.

Felicia paused at the sight of a figure moving towards her, staring curiously as he it? came closer. She gave him a quick once over, and waited for a moment for it to say something. "Well?" She asked, when no greeting or explanation came. Just some dumb lackey, she figured. The fact that he was made of stone only crossed her mind once, and was disregarded as unimportant. After living in a city attacked by alien slime creatures, men made of sand, men dressed as goblins -- really, a rock man wasn't all that impressive.

"Are you going to tell me why I was brought here?" She asked, obviously more then a little impatient. Especially when she was already annoyed with the fact that she'd been kidnapped -- again. "Take me to your leader?" Bad joke courtesy of the Spider; after so long his stupid puns and lines were rubbing off on her.

The golem said nothing, as it couldn't speak. It merely stared at her until she became frustrated with him and asked him another question. He lifted one hand, palm up, and then curled his fingers inward repeatedly. A beckoning motion.

Turning, the golem walked from the gardens toward the main building, glancing back once to be sure she was following before continuing. The stride was even and measured, almost robotic, though the movements were fluid. It moved as a man moved, even though it was no man.

He led her toward the courtyard where the plaque was inlaid in the wall. Past tennis courts and an outdoor pool and jacuzzi. Past a large garage that more resembled an airplane hangar filled with golf carts, ATVs and all manner of other small vehicles including bicycles. They came to the courtyard and the golem motiond toward the plaque when they came within sight of it.

Felicia quirked a brow at the motion, and followed without question. "The strong silent type, eh?" Her attention was drawn to the things they passed, the corners of her lips quirking upwards slightly. Looked like a resort. A pretty damn nice one if she did say so herself. Better then a jungle or a prison, at least.

Finally they stopped and she scanned the plaque. Home? Not even close. The whole providing anything she needed was nice, but honestly -- She'd rather be back in New York. On the other hand, Felicia could use a break...Maybe she'd hang here a while before trying to find a way home. "Anything I need, hmm? Can you bring me my cat, Jinx? Ooh...And some sushi." She asked, figuring why not test it out. See if the anything she needed promise was true.

Once again the golem made no reply to her one-liner. If he had been human, he might have been amused. But it was a loss for both of them that he wasn't.

When she asked the question, even if it had been meant as rhetorical, the golem nodded. The cat request would be fulfilled when she got to her room, but the sushi could be provided for.

A second golem, seemingly made out of clay, approached with a black plastic container full of sushi, proferring it to the young blond. It had a bit of wasabi and pickled ginger along with a small container of soy sauce.

They both looked at her as if they were awaiting other orders, but as soon as she took the sushi, her host turned and headed toward the building where her room was located, beckoning her to follow once more.

She grinned and took the container. "Thank you, darling." Felicia said, popping one in her mouth as she was led away again. Not half bad. There were definitely worse places to be kidnapped too, and really -- if she could get dragged here who was to say others she knew weren't here too? Maybe even the Spider or her Mr-Right-Now, Puma.

It would be nice to see another human being though. She could have a better look around later, once she got settled in, she supposed. Moving into the building, green eyes flickered over the numbers on the doors. "Showing me to my room? Better be nice, or I'll be wanting to speak to your manager." Felicia wasn't expecting an answer, mostly keeping herself interested as she snacked on the food she'd been given, and was shown around.

The golem led her down the corridor of the first floor of the A building. There were some noises from people who had arrived earlier, coming from behind the closed doors. But other than that, it was relatively quiet in the hall, save for the sound of their respective footsteps.

The golem stopped at 109 and gestured toward the doorknob with the lock meant for her key. Standing back, the stone man waited for her to use her key before it would leave. The golems knew enough to stick around in case there were questions. No warning about the way the room changed would come from the golem, though. She would have to find that out for herself.

The noises of other people were comforting, even if she couldn't see them, and also made her even more curious as to who else was here. It could wait though. She pushed open her door and stepped inside, giving things a look. Her room wasn't based on anything in particular. Not like her one at home, or her childhood bedroom, or anything sentimental like that. The room looked more like a classic hotel penthouse suite; lavish, decorated in shades of dark red and gold, complete with fresh flowers, and chocolates on the pillow.

Felicia glanced at the golem, pointing to the spot as if it were a dog and she was instructing him to stay while she made sure the room was satisfactory. Sitting room was nice, candles on the table, a few of her favorite magazines, nice new robe and slippers -- her small calico cat leaping out from under the sofa and into her arms, bringing a smile to her lips. The windows, not real windows obviously, but that was fine as she preferred them the way they were with the fake view of Manhattan.

Elevated about two steps up was the bedroom area; king sized bed, Egyptian cotton sheets, and two doors. Oh, and the prizes behind them were fantastic. Beautiful bathroom behind door number one. Heaven behind door number too; walk in closet with wonderful clothes, many shoes, jewelry, jewelry, oh! and gorgeous jewelry. Yes, she was greedy and materialistic. Felicia had long since made peace with that.

She stepped out of the room, and pressed a kiss to the golem's stone cheek. "It's fantastic. Pass my compliments to the Planet." Mild sarcasm in her voice, but she was still happy. "Anything else I should know, or can I go enjoy my new room?"

The golem waited patiently while Felicia inspected her new room. Standing outside the door, stock still, waiting until she was finished. There was not much the golem might have been able to do had she been disappointed with the room, but as it were, she seemed perfectly happy with it.

The golem shook his head when she asked if there was anything else she should know, then turned and walked back down the corridor the way they had come, back to the lobby to wait for another arrival, or for the Planet to give further instructions. Felicia was on her own.
