Ichinomiya Jun or, as westerners called him, Jun Ichinomiya awoke early, as he normally did and stepped out onto his patio with a smile…he had accepted his fate and was determined to enjoy each and every day he could on his new home planet.
After a nice hot shower and a breakfast of fruit salad and tea, he hurried down to work a bit in the café, as he did on many mornings…it gave him a sense of normalcy and helped him meet people.

He had his regulars, which always made him happy and gave him a reason to also come in regularly himself. John Crichton was a regular…the spaceman always greeted Jun in the boy’s native Japanese and always had a friendly word and a joke or two for him…Jun looked forward to the time they spent together and hoped that maybe someday the man would invite him to spend some leisure time outside of the café. Max Evans came by frequently also and Jun kept a full bottle of Tabasco sauce ready just for him…although no one else ever requested Tabasco sauce with their donuts or pastries or milkshakes. Jun smiled and shook his head…Max was a great guy and his age too…maybe he would invite him to play ball or hit the game room or something. Then there was that fellow…Lestat…the pale man who came and ordered a drink and never really seemed to drink it. He just sat here for hours sometimes and pretended to read…Jun noticed that he never turned a page…and watched people…the green-haired teen knew that he was being watched as well and felt very uneasy around the man, but what could he do?

After working a shift at the café, Jun was ready to relax and decided to take in a nice relaxing sauna. He loved taking a sauna and would do so at least once a week at home. He had taken a few saunas here and was surprised to find it empty each time. Wrapping his thick, peach-colored towel around his waist and draping a smaller white towel over his shoulders, Jun stepped into the sauna…it, of course, was empty. Moving up to one of the higher benches, he laid out his long peach-colored towel on the bench and then, at one end, folded the small white one to act as a pillow for his head. Retrieving a small birch branch from a hook on the wall, the green-haired teen placed it next to where he would lay so he could use it to lightly beat himself to relax his muscles. “Ahhhhh, now to relaxxxxx”, he sighed, as he relined flat back on the bench. The long peach towel was double thick and cushy and absorbed sweat really well, which was good, because the sauna started working right away. Jun closed his eyes and let all his cares drift away.

Another day.. Surely Lois Lane has only been on the Planet for two days but it felt like weeks. The reporter herself has spent most of her time recooperating in her room that looked like her apartment in Smallville, Kansas. It just felt like home. Lois also did a lot of research in the computer room by the coffee bar. Learning more about where she was at. What activities there were to do among the resort. She then resently discovered that they had a spa amongst the resort. And relaxing was definitely on her to-do list for the day.

She needed to get her mind off the fact that Lex Luthor was still here. Yet it still ate her alive.. She couldn't help but wonder if he is up to no good. Perhaps he had a hand in this phenominal act of appearing on a planet. With the technology and money he has.. what if he compiled a virtual reality and led her to believe she was on another planet. Anything was possible. But she needed to stop being paranoid and actually try and enjoy herself.

And so she did. First thing in the morning she went towards the spa.. Entered into the locker room.. All she really had on was a robe she slipped on back in her room.. She untied the robe and removed it slipping into an open locker. She then took a white cotton towel and wrapped it around her thin slender naked torso.. She also had those brunette wavy lockes gathered in a messy stylish bun.. She trotted towards the sauna and took notice of a young boy making himself comfortable in the Sauna. She shrugged and didn't think much of it. Surely she was 23 and he is obviously a lot younger.. they can be adults. She certainly hopes he could be. Pushing the door open and then allowing herself in and taking a seat across from him.

"Hope you don't mind company; cause I need this bad."

She said casually.. then she raised a brow.. was his hair green? First she met a girl with pink hair.. now a boy with green hair. She certainly felt like the odd one around here.

The heat of the sauna eased Jun's overworked muscles and allowed him to totally unwind and drift into a light sleep. He dreamed of his family and his friends at the cafe. A smile crossed his face as he remembered the last time he took sauna wih his friends....Taro insisted on cleaning the entire bench they sat on with his portable set of cleaning supplies before they even at down and then he spent the entire time monitoring Maki's behavior...Jun almost chuckled...Maki against all Japanese tradition and honor flirted with the young women who entered the sauna and earned a crack on the head from Maki each time....such a thing was unheard of and taboo...it just wasn't done. Maki considered himself quite a Romeo. Shuta sat very still, since he was such an accident prone boy, and just enjoyed being with everyone. Then there was magical, purple-haired Hifumi...he had all eyes on them as two birch branches floated by him and flogged his body of their own accord.

Jun sighed, enjoying his treasured memories...and then, suddenly, a voice snapped him out of his reverie. The green-haired teen opened his eyes and sat up. The fact that he was naked and the young woman was as well did not bother him at all. in Japan, people attended public baths, saunas and hot springs naked and mixed sex all the time. There was nothing sexual attached to these places...there were rules and traditions to be followed in these places.

Jun's green eyes sparkled and he smiled widely, "I welcome company, Miss!", he exclaimed, "My name is Jun and I was beginning to think that I was the only one on the planet that enjoyed saunas!". Resting his elbows on his knes and his chin in his hands, Jun asked, "So, you sound American, right? How long have you been here? I haven't seen you in the cafe". He sent a puff of air from his lower lip up to blow a lock of green hair out of his eyes. He was so excited to meet someone new. Jun loved people and wanted to know everything about new pople he met.

That thin brow as well as those eyes widened at how welcoming he was.. Not what she was expecting at all. It was nice though. Not really as awkward as she was dreading for. She smiled amused by his animated character.

"Hi Jun. I'm Lois Lane and you guessed correct; I'm American. But I was born in Germany--Army thing." Lois sat back and her eyes suttled while taking in a deep breath and letting it slowly out before answering his other questions.

"Well, Jun I've been here for two days now. Probably why you haven't seen much of me; because I am a coffee fiend--In fact this is the first time I haven't had a cup in my hand. Imagine that?"

Now that coffee is on the brain she sorta wished she had some in hand. But she'll live.

"And you? You sound more eastern rather than West. And how many days do you count yourself here?"

It was a definite contrast in the voice and tones between the two. Which also amused the young reporter.. It was very intriguing to meet new people.. Especially ones of which she's never imagined before.

Jun smiled brightly as the pretty woman spoke to him…he thought her very nice. “Ahhh, A coffee fiend, Miss Lois? Then I am very surprised that we have not met before now. Have you never been to the café?”, he tapped his lip with his forefinger, “Ahhh, perhaps you have been, but maybe not in the early morning when I work there, yes?”.

“You are quite correct! I am from Japan! Tokyo is my city! I work there in a café and I go to school”, his leaf-green eyebrows knit together in thought, “I have been here 13 days already”, he declared with pride, “I think I was one of the first, along with a spaceman, a female warrior, a cave woman and Miss Giselle. Have you met Miss Giselle? She has red hair and sings like an angel. Even animals come to hear her sing…and they do things for her! It’s really quite amazing, Miss Lois!”

“So what have you seen in two days, Miss Lois? Have you tried the hot springs? They are so relaxing! I think you would love them. There is also rock climbing, mountain biking, ATVs, horseback riding and all sorts of things”, he stood up to stretch a bit and then returned to his seat, “I mention these activities because I see you are in fine shape and must exercise, yes?”, he asked innocently. Being the type of guy he was, Jun meant the compliment innocently and would never have thought to flirt…it was merely a remark that he would have said to one of his buddies back home.

"I've been to the place they call a coffee bar. Do you work there? I'd hate to admit this but I used to live above a coffee shop.. And that is what my room looks like.. So I'm more used to brewing coffee in my room; it's a good possibility why you haven't seen me at the cafe, Jun."

Wow now that Lois has said that out loud.. she realized she needed to get out more. And explore.

"Japan-huh? Who would have guessed it. I've been there, loved it every time my father took me there. You see my dad is an Army General. So whereever the General went; I followed. Until now.. Gotta break my wings in sooner or later right?"

Lois took in the aroma theraputic scent of the sauna as she continued to listen to him speak about the other people who arrived wow just wow.. this whole metaphorically ironic twist of Wizard of Oz was getting more and more believable. She then heard him ask questions about her..

"Well for the past few days I've seen the Coffee bar, the sitting room.. And the Computer room. The outdoors.. sort of reminds me of a little town in Kansas.. hence it makes me homesick ironically; and after stepping in a cow-pie you kinda wanna be indoors for a while.--Did you say Hotsprings? Oh yeah well I do set time aside to workout but then I also pig out.. really balances it out yet I stay stick thin. Lucky me I guess right? And Lucky you too I noticed. Now what's this about Hotsprings? Are you telling me this Planet has those too?"

That sounded very intriguing; Lois has never even been Hotspring before.. Sure she's heard of them but always wanted to experience a natural relaxation of heated waters..

Jun was excited that Lois had visited his native Japan and had enjoyed her time there. "I am so glad that your time in my country was pleasant, Miss Lois", he replied with a smile, "I do not think you came to my cafe in Tokyo", he grinned, "I think you would remember my green hair or Hifumi's purple hair".

When she mentioned Kansas, he became excited once again, "I know this Kansas, though I have never been there. I have heard of it in a movie...'The Wizard of Oz'...you know this movie? About Dorothy who goes to a magical land and meets very unusual people and a witch?", his green eyebrows raised, "You are like Dorothy! You came from Kansas to Mirage instead of Oz!". Jun seemed very pleased with the new story he was creating in his head. "In this new story, the girl from Kansas has met a green-haired boy!", he chuckled, "Who else have you met, Miss Lois?"

Jun was pleased that the American woman was happy to hear about the hotsprings;he often took in a long soak alone. "I would be very happy to show you the hot springs, Miss Lois. Just like the sauna, I am usually all alone there". He stood again to stretch and do some tai chi. He spoke softly as he went through the slow, meditative movements, "There are several springs with different minerals...each with their own unique benefits". The great heat felt delightful as it cleaned his pores and left his skin feeling refreshed, "Do you know tai chi, Miss Lois?".

Lois couldn't help but smile.. when he brought up that Wizard of Oz reference..

"I really couldn't help but think about Oz, when I came here. Good to know someone else understands-- Me being Dorothy? That's a riot.. I'll believe that when I run into a tin man, a scarecrow, and a Lion."

"Well I've met a Pink Haired girl..named Tonks-I think and a man dressed like he stepped out of an early Star Trek show. Marcus would be his name."

Lois stood up with the young boy.. and followed his tai chi movements.. "I take time off my busy schedule to practice this art.. Believe me, this and Yoga can get me through a tough day." Slowing moving her arms and forward.. certainly felt more of a workout in a heated room..

"Anything else you can do?"

“OH, I have met Marcus as well”, Jun replied, happy to have some common ground with the woman, “He is a very nice man”. The green-haired teen smiled thinking about Tonks, “I have not yet met this pink-haired girl, but I think we would make an interesting couple, don’t you?”, he joked.

Jun was pleasantly surprised when Lois joined him in his tai chi exercises…he could see by her posture and fluid movements that she was no stranger to the art. “You are a woman of mystery, Miss Lois. It seems that you know many things for a girl from Kansas”.

He paused to retrieve a birch branch to beat himself about the back and arms…then his legs and finally his chest.

He smiled at Lois’ question, “What else can I do? Hmmm…well, I am a black belt in Shotokan Karate, I inherited super-strength from my mother…, he grinned, “…I could juggle a few cars for you if they had any here…”, just then, as he turned his head to joke, he lost enough concentration during one of his moves to trip himself…and send him tumbling over onto Lois…knocking her over…twisting them around and leaving Lois laying on top of him, “Miss Lois! I’m so very sorry!”, he apologized, his face bright red. Jun was mortified…how had he been so clumsy?

Lois was not expecting to lose her footing either and before she knew it she tumbled right on top of the teenager.. Lois tried to laugh it off.. as she quickly tried to stand herself back up.. and catching her towel before it fell from her thin figure..

"Noo Problem.. I fall on men all the time.. just not.. any green haired ones. First for everything right?" She placed a few loose wavy strands of her hair behind her ear.. It certainly felt awkward.. she was very much older than him.. so it felt like she tumbled on her little brother, if she had one..

"But uhh.. black belt? Very nice. As for me? Well I know a lot cause I traveled with my dad around the world.. a curse for being an army kid." She looked down to make sure nothing was peaking out or whatever.. seemed okay.. she held out her hand to help the young man up..

Jun grinned when Lois said that she fell over men all the time, "I suppose there aren't many green-haired men walking about in Kanas for you to fall on", he chuckled as he took her hand to stand. Smiling innocently as the young woman checked over her towel to make sure it was secure, Jun noted, "Sure was a good thing that one of us was wearing a towel", he looked down at his naked body, "...that landing on top of each other could have been ALOT more awkward!". The green-haired teen wasn't trying to be lewd...he was just pointing out a fact, somewhat like a child would do...maybe a bit inappropriately.

Jun fell back into his tai chi exercises and offered, "If you would like to learn karate, Miss Lois, I can teach you", he shrugged, "No hurry to decide. Seems like we all will be here for awhile".

After finishing his exercises, Jun stood silent, saying a prayer...then he opened his eyes and retrieved his large peach-colored towel from the bench and tied it around his slender waist. "It is time for me to go now, Miss Lois. It was very nice to meet you. If you should ever want my company or need anything heavy lifted, my room number is E101", he informed her before bowing deeply and stepping from the sauna.

Once leaving the sauna, Jun hurried to the showers and stood beneath an ice-cold shower to cleanse him and seal his pores. He then toweled himself off, dressed and headed to his room for a nice little nap.
