Edward Wished he could go home.

Not that he didnt like this place, hardly anyone was out to stare at him as he ran, though he doubted they'd see him anyway due his speed, in the daylight.Daylight that made his skin sparkle and shine like a giant Diamond.

He, thankfully, made it to the sanctuary of the library, and took confort in the non-sunlight place.

He smiled,though only slightly, at the rows and rows of books. It was nothing like his personal library back home, for one it was bigger.

He quickly realized he wasnt the onlyperson here, and his eyes flicked to the other human, a male this time

He just hoped this place wasnt full of humans, because with no animals, that he could sense anyway, the odds wouldnt be to good.Despite the no kill rule.

"Yes. My mother has a house in Tokyo", he answered, looking across at Edward briefly before directing his attention back to his book. He hadn't managed to read any more of it, he just wasn't all that interested in a conversation.

Glancing down at his feet for a moment, Doumyouji admired his shoes. They looked as if they needed a slight polish - this place clearly wasn't good for keeping them in pristine condition. The problem was, he realised, was that he'd never polished shoes before. Someone else had always done it for him, or he'd simply bought a new pair. He idly wondered if the planet would provide him with a new pair, or if he was going to be expected to polish them himself.

"Do you normally hold conversations in libraries?" He asked the other boy pointedly, casting him a sidelong glance.

Edward nodded. "Toyko is lovely, espically during the summer".He had vacationed there loads of times, though he didnt feel like telling the angry young mortal that.

His eyes fell back onto the book in front of him, scanning the words on the page, but having read it so many times, he knew the plot before it even got started, and with a sigh closed the book, pushing it away from him and watching it slide off into the large stack of books near the end of the table. He briefly wondered if this place would supply its library with current books.

"I dont normally go to libraries."He admitted.It was true, with the exception of hunting and attending school, he rarely ventured out into the mortal world at all.Well, unless he wanted to vacation somewhere.

Doumyouji didn't say anything to Edward's comment about Tokyo in the summer. He only spent his summers then when he wanted to; he had the funds and means at his fingertips to travel anywhere should he want to. As such, whilst he wouldn't say that Tokyo was an unpleasant place to be in the summer, he could think of nicer places to be. And then, of course, there was the ever present fact that he wasn't in Tokyo and had no way of travelling there, and being reminded of the fact was not helping his mood in the slightest.

Doumyouji's expression flickered as the other boy sighed. He was even noisy when doing that. "Public libraries are quiet. People don't talk in them", Doumyouji commented, eyes flickering towards Edward briefly. Rui was more often found in libraries than he, himself, was, but he wasn't ignorant of the conventions, particularly when they suited him and his mood.

Edward didnt like his attitude. It seemed...he acted like he was above all other.He had only met a few others like that, and then it had only been in passing..and of course they had been vampires like himself.

"Right"He muttered, his fingers tabbing on the table as his dark eyes flicked over the far away bookshelf, skimming the titles carefully."I'll make note of that".

Doumyouji nodded to himself as Edward responded, hoping the other would get the hint. However, as fingertips began to tap against the table, Doumyouji's eyebrows knit together and he glanced over at the other sharply as Edward spoke again.

"What part of that didn't you get?" Tsukasa snapped, shutting his book with a resounding bang. "Library. Quiet". He scoffed slightly, staring down at Edward. "Unless you don't know what quiet means..." He trailed off slightly. "Absence of sound. No noise".

Tsukasa murmured a vague 'hmph' sound, but didn't bother to comment on the fact that he had been called 'your majesty'. If he hadn't been here, he probably would have hit Edward, but since the plaque had specified no killing, Tsukasa imagined that hurting someone probably wouldn't be viewed very lightly. He didn't really want to incur the wrath of some planet, particularly as it had transported him from his (really very nice) home in Japan. Besides, he had been called worse, and really. If one ignored the sarcastic tone, Tsukasa liked to think that the other was merely seeing that he was an idiot in comparison to himself.

Instead, Tsukasa merely settled for glaring at him, before standing and moving away from 'his' chair. Replacing the book in it's proper place (something he noticed Edward hadn't done; did this guy have no manners?), he idly scanned the rows for something else that might interest him, pointedly ignoring Edward, hoping the other would leave so he could enjoy the library in peace once more. He didn't particularly want to leave the library first and make it seem as if he had admitted defeat.

Edward rolled his eyes at the boy's 'tude and his dark gaze went back to staring at the far wall of books.If he hadnt known any better, he would have just thought the boy was rude because he had been misplaced from his home(though that was still no reason to be rude)but when one had a mind-reading power such as his, you could always find out different.

Still,just to annoy the young mortal, edward rose humming, very loudly, and proceeded the bookshelves, spotting a good novel that he was sure he hadnt read yet.
