Misa layed on her stomach staring at her room. It looked familiar yet it was so different. She didn't feel safe in this room. She instead was frightened. She desperately wanted to go home to Japan. She couldn't understand why the planet would want her.

Luckily for Misa she was able to get in contact with her darling Light Yagami. Perhaps Misa could handle this place better if he was with her. He seemed to make everything right for her. She desperately wanted him to love her.

Misa heard a knock on the door and bounced up off her bed to answer. It was Light! Misa threw herself at Light in an embrace. "Oh Light, Misa-Misa doesn't want to be here anymore! This place is too different from Japan!"

'Yes, quite lucky. However, the planet apparently prevents us from being able to kill other people. Due to the fact that this is stated as if it is undeniably true, I do not wish to attempt killing him until this is disproved. I can't risk being found out here, where there is no escape. We can't take any risks. We have to keep our heads low and act as if we are completely innocent. I'd rather you stay nearby me as often as possible, just in case you slip up, so I can make sure to cover it up well. I want to make sure we stay safe.'

Of course, there wasn't really a 'we' here. He simply cared to ensure that nothing happen to himself due to a blunder on Misa's part. He couldn't risk her ruining all of this. He wasn't going to pay hell due to some idiot's mistakes.

"Just how have you been, Misa-chan? I hope you weren't alone for long back in our world..."

'Oh...that is unfortunate. How are we going to test it? We can't just sit by and let him keep going with us here now. He could tell others of us, he could get us in trouble!' Misa wrote starting to little by little get worked up over the unknown possibilities.

'Hey! I'm not stupid I won't slip up! But I would love to stay close with you my Light-darling!' Misa looked up and smiled at Light.

Misa was a little relieved when he started talking to her out loud, "Oh it's been rough...actually I was taken away the same day as--" Misa covered her mouth and wrote the rest of her sentence on the paper:

'same day that you had Rem kill L. Do you know what happened to her since L didn't die? I do hope she is ok...'

'We wait around to see it tested by someone else. We don't take risks. I know you're not stupid, but even the best of us slip up. I'm glad you want to stay close. I wish it had gone through. My plan was flawless and, yet, something unexpected happened that ruined it all!'

	Misa was surprised by Light's sudden embrace. She gasped as pulled her in. She was suddenly grateful to have him there with her. He really was her knight in armor. She wraped her arms around him as well. "It's ok. Thank you so much, it means a lot to me that you care." Misa said into his shoulder. She didn't want him to ever let go of her. 	Misa noded, "It did didn't it." she said, honestly thinking of how by chance she ended up with a Death Note and finding him. Misa pulled back a little to be able to see Light's face, however still keeping her arms around him. He looked serious to her. She knew he had wanted her to remain close but she never thought it'd be like this. Misa nodded, "Yes I'd love to." she couldn't help but smile at him. "Should I go to yours or should we stay in Misa's?" she started to get excited just thinking of it.

Misa was a little confused by what Light meant. Laura had given her the impression she already had heard of her and still wanted to be her friend. She didn't think the woman would be pretending to be her friend. Why would someone want to do that?

'I don't know. I like her...perhaps you are right though...' Misa said rather than risking a possible argument with Light and have him take back his offer of living with him.

Misa simply nodded. She didn't think it'd be a good idea to tell him that she actually liked Laura. "Sure I'll do that. Ohh I'm sure we will have lots of fun together!" Misa exclaimed excitedly. "Misa-Misa is sure that she would love to get to know you and will change her mind!"

Misa smiled up at Light but then started to look around the room. "Ohh...I do have a lot of packing to do...Light, I should get started. I'll be over at your room on time tomorrow. Promise!" she held up her hand as if to swear.
