all day 🌸 everywhere
[It's a particularly warm, sunny day, everything about this weekend inviting you to go outside for a while. But before you may plan anything special, you see them. The buttons. Bright, colorful, like an inflated doorbell, placed on all sorts of ridiculous places - random walls, the side of a tree, inside your shops. Normally, you'd probably try to be cautious. But these seem to carry an irresistible charm, and before you know it, you're pressing them.

A loud chime sounds. And then your date begins.

Now accompanied by someone else who also pressed a button, you'll find yourself inside one of the boats by the river, ready for a romantic ride towards the sea. Or seating at the coziest spot in the Cherry Blossom Café. Or about to have a picnic by the beach. And so on.

But what if you don't want this obvious date with someone else? Well, the more you struggle, the more you'll be stuck there. If you two have a good time and share a happy moment, you'll be able to go your own way sooner. If you get too cranky, maybe you just need some motivation - like being unable to leave! Or a little magical intervention - maybe the lights dim for no reason. Maybe a romantic song starts to play, trying to inspire you to dance for a while. Perhaps mistletoe shows up above you? The Usyagi can be pretty creative, afterall.

But surely, one way or another, you'll be free, and hopefully you'll make it home before you run into any new buttons, trying to tempt you yet again.]

[Laughs softly, kissing him back a few more times for good measure, humming out softly-- pleased.]

Not sure I have ideas. Why do you think I'm asking a thirteen year old for advice? [He's teasing, but. Really.]

[Pushing his hand up his stomach more, bunching his shirt up as he goes, brushing his fingers up over his chest.]

I told her... that you do so much for me and I wish I could return the favor more often. [Kisses him because he knows he'll likely protest that.] I know you don't see it that way.

[The kiss might keep him from protesting immediately, smoothing over it a little as Keith returns it in a soft, lingering way. But he still looks at him with that silent insistence after, even as he presses into his hand against his chest and shiver. Of course he doesn't see it like that -- because it isn't.]

Shiro...

[He sighs out, then simply brushes up his hand to touch his face again, gentle. In the end, he isn't too surprised that Shiro might feel this way, all things considered, but.] Anything I've ever done, I already know you'd do just as much for me. I'm --

You might not see it this way either, but you, anything you do, everything you give me, too... That gets me by. So much more than I can say. [It's not just him.]

[Shivers a little, giving just the slightest press of his thumb in turn to his lips, into that kiss.]

There's always been a lot going on. [Both around them and internally that they had to deal with. Not fair to put that on just Shiro not noticing, as far as Keith's concerned.] It didn't let us see things the way we maybe needed to.

But you've always deserved to know it. Just -- how important you are. [Then, softer:] How much you matter to me.

[Gives him a soft, fond smile-- of course you'd say that, he thinks. You're always ready to forgive him of anything.]

You too. Keith... [Leans in and kisses him, gentle and brief, then ducks his head to press a similar kiss to his neck. He pushes his shirt up again, bunching it up enough to duck down further and press a kiss to his chest, just above his heart.]

You deserve to know, too. You're so important to me. You're... [everything.] You matter so much to me.

[Nothing to be forgiven shhh. It's so soft but the kisses still leave him trembling, especially at the one on his chest -- a short gasp passing his lips as he arches into it just so, holding onto Shiro at his shoulders. Definitely kicked up his heartbeat just as it twists in his chest from the feeling. God.]

I know. I... [It's an amazing thing, to know it, to get to have this, and Keith isn't sure he'll ever have the right words to say what it means to him. Even that, though, is a relief in that he's understood now at the things he can't fully articulate too.] Shiro.

[He breathes out, just a little shakily but presses his forehead back against his, looking at him with his gaze half lidded. And then just... smiling, a little helpless and soft, when he manages a fond whisper back.]

It feels like the most precious thing I'll ever know. I can't doubt that for a moment. [You love him. There's no small amount of wonder about it even now, but he sounds just as certain as he says, too.]

	[God, he's so --] Shiro... Yeah. Yeah. [To know this feeling so fully almost threatens to overwhelm him, but in a way that he welcomes entirely. He wants to feel it all.
