Sullivan was not a hard man to find - he was a fairly well-known (though not necessarily well-liked) local character, and if you asked around enough, someone would probably direct you to find a short, strawberry-blonde little twentysomething with bad facial hair and the face of a teenager, a young man that (given the right price) could either make your wildest dreams come true or turn your life into a nightmare. Sullivan himself had no powers of his own except the ability to affect the powers and abilities of others, but in many ways, this had been more useful to him than having any one specific usable one. Sullivan was a businessman, and all this power swapping and trading had proven itself to be exceptionally lucrative. Morals could suck it.
He was hanging around the local watering hole with a half glass of gin in front of him and his nose in a book on Tuesday night. He'd heard rumours that some of the traveling carnival folk had been asking around about him, and it was only a matter of time before someone came by, attempting to make him an offer he couldn't refuse. That's what they all did - they all thought they had the upper hand, that they'd get the better end of any bargain they made with him, but that was fine with Sullivan. He knew exactly what he was doing, and he was ready for them.
