There hasn't been any movement on the remaining scene in days so I'm calling a halt to the event. It isn't fair to keep everyone waiting, and I'm afraid that the community will stagnate if we wait any longer.

To sum up: Poseidon got 3 maenads, now nereids. Hades got 2. These are definite things that happened. What was supposed to happen was Achilles killing a maenad, releasing the spirit to escape. Vivien's fate is undecided.

What I want from you is to tell us what happened. Let's discuss the gloss. Who did what with whom and how did it turn out? This way we can move things along.

Your PBM here. You have not been forgotten and I apologize for the delay. Ren has come into a bit of a family worry, and it is taking her focus understandably. Your mods are in the process of figuring out how to proceed with the scene in limbo for the event.

Meanwhile, so y'all aren't feeling completely abandoned, how about a character meme?

Today is your illustrious Public Relations Mod's burpday! Give her some love! NOW! *ahem* Chances are she will not be around today/tonight as she celebrates the day she was spat out into this cold, cruel world.

Tonight your PBM will be attending a Voltaire/Hellblinki concert. If you have never listened to either, do so! NOW! *ahemahem* I will be around during the day and early evening but then I poof to go see musical goodness! Tomorrow Penn State is playing at noon in their first conference game of the season so I'll be a wreck. Then it is also my roommate's son's burpday and there will be a party for him 3 eastern that I will go monitor. So I will be sporatic during the day, absent late afternoon but back in the evening.

The Poseidon scene is finished. The Hades scene nearly so, I should think. The Rescue Erato and Slap Dio scene continues with who knows how much more to go. Sorry this is delaying those of you who are not involved in the Seattle mess. We'll catch up soon I hope promise. Meanwhile, this is the perfect time to think of what your character(s) have been doing during the gloss that will happen.

I am aware that people want to get going on this. I don't have all the answers so I'm making the decisions.

Group 1: Apollo, Asclepius, Achilles, Gawain and Arthur go after Erato and Dio who are in the same room in the dorm with one maenad.

Group 2: Hades does what Hades does best.

Group 3: Poseidon and Medusa go on their own to impliment Poseidon's plan of collecting maenads for himself. They will continue on the mini-log begun by Apollo.

The rest of you go ahead and start your logs. Make certain to tag them appropriately with characters names and "!event 2" from the tag list. In the Character section of the heading make sure you list Maenads along with all the characters appearing in the log.

I will be running the maenads as NPCs. Tonight is pretty much a bust for me for as late as it is. Ren is working until close tomorrow. This last bit will take days most likely to finish, and the event will not end until all logs are closed/complete.

REMINDER: Knowledge gained from this post is not known by your characters! What they know is: there are three maenads at least. They do NOT know how many more there are. They do NOT know that Dio is there. From here on out details are not negotiable. Consider this game on. Character decisions and the reprecussions thereof are now in play.

We are ready for the final conflict! Plans have been laid out and our intrepid heroes have decided to split up. *snickersnicker*

The goal: Wrangle up as many maenads as possible without killing them! And possibly slap the shit out of Dio for letting this go on.

What does your PBM want from you? Clarity! And if you happen to see some marbles laying around I lost some. Chime in here, if you would please, and tell me who is going with who and where. I.E. Apollo is going after Erato so would say "Dearest and lovely PBM, Apollo will be venturing forth to rescue fair maid from her orgasmic doom, and he will be taking *insert character name here* with him." This will help me organize and know what's getting thrown at you.

This will not be easy, and it can fail. I will need to know what you are willing to have happen to your character(s). Short of death, of course. Unless you want to retire the character in which case you will make your PBM both giddy in that she gets to smear some death around, but sad in that we bid the character farewell.

Once I have everyone's input there will be individual log posts for the separate groups. I may ask you to set them up. If you have ANY questions or concerns (this includes for characters that are NOT involved in Seattle...your PBM has not forgotten you!) put them here and I will do my best to answer.

This would be: Nimue, Gawain, Arthur, Asclepius, Apollo, Achilles (if he wanted to call someone in a panic about Erato), Poseidon, Medusa and Hades (if he was coming along).

This will be the set up/planning to go storm the castle. There are a total of seven maenads. What the godlings know is that there is at least one definitely in town (*nods to Apollo*), but two others have been identified and could be assumed to be in town.
