Gloss Post!
Well, it's that time again, kids. Since we resume real-time on Sunday, it's time to beg the question of.... "Whatcha been doin'?"

The gloss will cover the dates of March 21st (post-sunrise) through March 31st. I expect, for the most part, this will involve godlings dealing with the aftermath of showing their true selves. Remember, those around you aren't going to be forgetting anytime soon. Also, how are the godlings themselves feeling after having had a taste of their old power again? Are they pining to get it back, or more relieved it's over?

Also, congratulations to our parents-to-be! You know who you are. ^_^ Expecting moms, you might find this a handy quick-reference (of course, you're welcome to do your own research or ask the mod who's been through the experience too). For pretty much all of you, the pregnancy will be more or less normal (aside from whatever complications you want the moms to go through). But they will all be standard 40-week pregnancies (and, as a reminder, that's 40 weeks measured from the last menstrual cycle--actual conception marks the start of Week Three).

As a reminder, as always, threads will remain open as long as necessary, and you are always welcome to back-date.

Meanwhile, changes will soon be afoot... ^_^

Aphrodite has found herself to be something of a sudden media darling in the wake of her influence over the city. Some fear her, some have gained a deep respect for her, and some are outright suspicious. She keeps going in stride, and has actually gotten a bump in business now that she's been "outed." She misses her powers, and would love to have them back again.

Apollo continues to charm the citizens of Seattle. People seem to look to him to keeping the now-known Muses in line. He does seem to be getting wider exposure and fame now that his real identity is out there. He also finds himself wishing he could have his abilities back more often, but is still doing well enough without them that it's not a big priority for him.

Ariadne, having not left her home all day during the Equinox, hasn't experienced much different, although her co-workers are still trying to get her to explain where she was on Tuesday. Frankly, she'd rather not go through that again.

Asclepius is busier than ever, and his patients are raving about their "miracle cures" at his hands. He has had difficulty finding a way to explain it to his young daughters, though. He does wish he had his old abilities and equipment back, since it would mean being able to save more patients, but only so long as he's able to wear normal clothes to do it.

Bastet has had a lot easier time doing her job since it's been discovered she's a goddess. Most people don't want to incur her wrath, so things have become much more honest at the MGM Grand. She doesn't especially mind not having her powers, since there isn't any serious threat to combat right now, but they would be useful to help deter mischief around her.

Erato is still trying to help her family come to terms with who she really is. Meanwhile, she is experiencing a lot more traffic on her advice blog, and her parents have never been more productive. Seeing as her abilities have never been that strong, she doesn't really care if she has them one way or another.

Esther decided to just make it an extended birthday party, and found that she got a lot more attention as Queen Esther than as Hada Morgenstern, although no one really acknowledged her other identity. However, the godlings have created a national stir, and she's been keeping close tabs on the fallout in Washington.

Kali has been embroiled in questions surrounding rules-lawyering of the boxing circuit. Some are also looking to her to help pay to clean up the destruction left in her wake. No one has dared to ask for the return of her necklace. She doesn't entirely know what to DO with her powers, so she isn't really caring if she has them or not, but she does think they're kind of cool.

Ogma fortunately escaped a great deal of scrutiny and most people in Kansas City remain blissfully unaware of who he really is. His children are still coming to terms with the idea that their dad is actually a god. He's been trying to keep in touch with Lilith, unsure of where their relationship is going to be going from this point. He misses his powers, but is content without them.

Sif has been trying to reassure Tina and her employees about who she really is, and her bakery has gotten an uptick in business from curious customers. She remains in regular contact with the other Norse, and is busily planning on getting to New York and Iowa as fast as she can. She also wishes she still had her powers, but can live without them.

Triton has been dealing with people not sure whether or not to take him seriously as a god or not in the absence of his powers, and working to train his new army. Most people try not to upset him, though, and most continue to be willing to follow his orders, but he does not command as much respect as he does with them. He wishes immensely to have them back, and also hopes his trumpet will also be recovered.
