Happy 1-Month Anniversary!
Congratulations, everyone!

Today marks the 1-month anniversary since we officially opened Metempsychosis to gameplay! I know, it doesn't seem that long, does it?

So, to mark the anniversary, first off, we'd like to announce a change: Since the game calendar generally matches up to the real-world calendar, we're going to stop announcing when the day changes on a regular game day. You'll only see the New Day announcements for events and glosses from here on out. We figure this will help declutter the OOC board.

Now, on to the fun stuff!

Once our plotbunny mod is feeling better, we'll be having our first major in-game event this month, so there's something to be excited about. More details about the event (and the gloss which will follow it) will be coming soon.

And now, to celebrate, we present you with some memes!

MEME 1 (OOC): Build a Soundtrack!
- In the comments below, suggest songs that would be appropriate to the characters currently in the game (and, no, you are not restricted to suggesting things only for your own characters). List the names of the character(s) and why you feel it is appropriate.
- Examples might include: Choosing a song that describes a character, a song that your character would listen to while doing his/her favorite thing, a song about something/someone your character detests, or even a song that describes your character's social life (this also extends to finding the perfect songs for pairings, whether they have been established ICly or not, or for groups of characters).
- Songs regarding past-life situations are also ok.
- YouTube links are encouraged!

MEME 2 (IC): Any 5 Questions!
- On the main board, have your character(s) ask any other character(s) any five questions you like. This must be based on IC knowledge/curiosity.
- The character(s) being interviewed must then answer the questions ICly.

Oooh, let's take a crack at that soundtrack, shall we?

For Medusa and Poseidon: "Toxic" by Britney Spears. Silly video aside, it rather aptly captures their dynamic.

This requires changing the gender POV to really work properly, but I think it generally suits Achilles (and not JUST because of which band it is!): "Slave For the Glory" by Lovex

Speaking of, I still love this one for Achilles and Erato: "One" by Lovex

For Aphrodite, a clearly obvious choice: "Venus" by Shocking Blue. (Alternately, there's also the Bananarama version)

OH I totally agree, Slave For the Glory is TOTALLY Achilles! XD I need to do songs now!

For Poseidon the only song that comes to mind is "Womanizer" by Brittney Spears (and I realize I gave you a video that someone put to Poseidon's PB which makes it that much more perfect. Watch it is amusing.)

Achilles this fits the price/love/finish until the end mentality with "Fight" by The Rasmus

Poseidon and Medusa "Kiss With A Fist" by Florence and the Machine"

Poseidon and Aphrodite "Undisclosed Desires" by Muse"

I am only going to suggest a soundtrack for Gawain. As a musician with pretty eclectic taste, I have a hard time deciding on a set list, but here goes ...

For his elegance: Satie's "Gymnopédie No. 1," performed by Jacques Loussier.

For his playfulness: Bach's "Bourée," by Jethro Tull.

For his poignancy: "Crockett's Theme," by Jan Hammer.

For his love of the divinely beautiful: "Fantasia on a Theme by Thomas Tallis," by Ralph Vaughan Williams.

For his strength and triumphs: "Pictures at an Exhibition - The Great Gate of Kiev," by Modest Moussorgsky.

For his moments of rage (yes, he does have them!): "Bad Company," by Five Finger Death Punch.

Medusa to Poseidon: KMFDM - Disobedience.

Odin: This pretty much sums him up entirely. Tell me you can't see him in the middle of battle with Valkyries all around him! Faith and the Muse - Cantus.

Nimue: I can see her leading a Beltaine ritual (skyclad *ahem*) to this song. XTC - Greenman.

And since they more of less belong to me:

Chaos: OMG even the video is so Chaos! It's almost too perfect! The Killers - Read My Mind.

Gaia: Had to. Nothing else is good enough. And it has to be this version. Page and Plant - Kashmir - No Quarter.

	Ok! I have more! For Poseidon and Dite: "I Feel The Earth Move" by Carole King. Because, well, duh. XD Change it from a Spanish island to a Greek one, and this works well for Ariadne: "La Isla Bonita" by Madonna. I also rather like this one for Dio and Ariadne: "Thunder Island" by Jay Ferguson. This one is very sweet for Erato and Achilles: "I See The Light" from "Tangled". (Reply to this)
