cschick: Following on those acafan discussions . . . - I think that authors should be mature enough to recognize that reader-to-reader discussion isn't generally something they need to know about or involve themselves in. That it happens, that it will happen, that it's a valid part of the writing and reading process. And that it's something that attempting to control can only bring them grief and may do harm to the fannish community itself. -
