Teo blinked in surprise. He hadn't actually expected Jakab to offer to show him around, especially not after what sounded like a suspiciously derisive snort. Teo got to his feet, his head whirling. There was a school, there were classes, a place to stay...apparently this place was well prepared for strangers showing up.
"Thanks, Teo managed to say, trying with some difficulty not to be overwhelmed, or more importantly, pelt Jakab with dozens of questions. But at the same time, he wasn't the sort to just leave things in silence. "What's the school like?" Teo wasn't exactly on the best of terms with school. He'd been taken classes at a local community college after he graduated high school, but it was halfhearted because he had no idea what he wanted to do, and more strongly, felt he didn't belong anyway.
