He lifts an eyebrow before scratching a line through his writing. "Okay. Pillow princesses are fine as long as they want to be there." He amended. This was actually a fantastic way of getting to know someone. He wouldn't use it with Holga or Simon because... there were certain things he didn't want to know but the line of questions seemed fun with Korbin. "Honestly, big guy, I don't know how anyone would want to be somewhere else."

"Pillow...princess." Korbin echoes the words and stifles a laugh. It's a fun phrase he'd never heard before. None of the people he'd ever been with were princesses to his knowledge. No princes, either.

"Sometimes, when I'm working a new piece of steel, I think about what I'm going to have to eat. Or what I will do when I finish the blade. I imagine it may be like that."

"Well... when you put it that way it makes the act seem almost dull and automatic." He murmured, tapping his quill on his chin and frowning when he realized he was getting ink on his face. "You want to sleep with someone who enjoys it and doesn't see it as a job." Not that there was anything wrong with thinking about other things while you worked. He assumed Korbin didn't think of other things while he worked because he was bored but the motions were familiar enough that he could clear his mind and think of other things.

"You're going to smear it..." He laughs but leans into the brush of Korbin's thumb.

His attention is drawn back towards the sheet of parchment and he shrugs. "Old habit... and I thought it was interesting. There are a few people I would prefer not to know any of this about." He says, immediately thinking of Holga and his usual group, "But, I don't know. It seemed like a good way to get to know a person."

"And now it will just look like dirt. An easy fix later and you won't look like a fool who wrote on his own face."

He eyes the parchment, brow going up as he asks, "Does that mean then that you have more of these about others?" Korbin has some interest now. Only because he's curious what all was written on everyone. "It is a good way. A favorite position or preference is certainly an icebreaker."

"I didn't write on my face. I just, accidentally, tapped it on my chin." And he's definitely not tempted to do it again and see if Korbin goes for the same fix. The other man is attractive, give him a break.

"Nothing as detailed... or interesting, really. Harpers jot down what they pick up in taverns or candid conversations on the street." He has gained a little information like this but nothing really interesting or useful. "I'll be collecting more." He said before looking back up at the other. "You haven't mentioned your favorite position."

He shrugs. "It's how it looks. I know I'd prefer the dirt." Because it wasn't abnormal for him to be dirtied. A few hours at his forge and he was covered in grossness.

"Shame," he said with a hum. To he question posed, Korbin crossed his arms and needed a long moment to think. He finally answered, saying, "Partner on top. I've been told I can be a little rough otherwise. Not everyone likes that."

"I would, too. I was just saying." There's nothing wrong with dirt. He'd been covered in more than his fair share of it during adventures and, occasionally, just during his former work as a Harper.

"It just struck me as being a fantastic ice breaker now. Give me some time and I'll have something to share with you." He said, before looking over at Korbin and waiting for the reply. It took him a moment to let that process before he was jotting it down. "Some people like it." He murmured. "Occasionally, you want something that'll make you forget both your own name and how to walk... but riding is fun, too."

	It sounded like stories for the future, some entertainment while he was working perhaps so Korbin nodded. "Speaking from experience?" he asked. He didn't know, could only guess the accuracy. Edgin would probably get a kick out retelling these stories to Korbin once he'd collected a few. He'd want to tell someone.

He laughed at the question but nodded. "Considering, well, everything it's been a little harder to get that itch scratched but..." He shrugged. He couldn't really let a random partner be that rough when he and the rest of his merry little band might have to rush out of town as quickly as possible.
